Wtf is wrong with BW? I already thought that the 560 DLC was expensive and now they announce Shadow Broker for 800..

Why do I have a feeling that I have to blame the 360 for this awful price? I heard that people on the 360 had to pay for DLC if it had achievments and with this one having 5 achievments.. Simply wtf?!  BW better be releasing a GOTY edition that includes all this content, because I sure as hell won't buy this..

All the DLC combined probably costs roughly $15 or $20.. I wonder who would have purchased ME2 if it was $70 or $80 when it was released.. (assuming that the normal price is $50 and $60 on the 360)

I guessed it would be the end of august (8/31) well, it's ok to wait for one more week. 800 points? it is OK as long as it is a role of making bridge between ME2 and ME3. I think that this DLC is very important for the whole ME2 story. then we know how exactly Liara did make a big mistake or not by this DLC finally. so I guess that there are several groups coming to stop Shepard. I guess that Collectors will be shown up again since this story is a part of deal with collectors. no more geth.



anyway, I am very excited. I will buy it. it doesn't matter wether it is 800 point or not. I will buy any DLC for ME 2 anyway. so far I bought every DLC. so if I won't buy DLC near the future, it wouldn't make any sense. I have 2800 bio points. so sit back and relax.

Glad a release date has finally been announced, bummed that we still have to wait 3 more weeks, surprised that it's 800 MS points, but still pumped for it anyway. Day one buy.

So we finally have our confirmation.....And it pisses me off.

First off I am already in school so I am fine with it taking another week. School started today for we college folk. The price is horrible to me, 5 bucks better be worth it or i will be very upset. 5 achievements are okay, glad i will be able to pursue Liara more.

What I am really upset about over this is why we cannot get this for free....After the last few items shouldn't we loyal customers get another Free DLC again? I know that both myself and other people on these forums have purchased all DLC for this game. That is at least 20 dollars spent on extra stuff, sounds more than adequite that we should be able to get something for free after that.

Given how many hours I've put into this game, it has been well worth the money. I will happily pay $10 for the new DLC on the day it's released. I'm assuming it will add about 3 hours of game play, and I will probably do multiple play-throughs. And so will you.

Tazzmission speaks the truth.  Free DLC is OVER!  OVER!.....OOOOOOOOOOOOVVVVVVVVEEEERRRR.  It ended with the Cerberus Network.  You got a character, and other stuff for free...stop asking for more free lunch.  We are getting good high quality DLC so pay for it or don't but stop asking for free stuff like you deserve it.  Bioware does good work, and deserves to be paid.

Sounds like a revisitable place. Doesn't strike me as unlikely Liara will relocate there after the mission.

That would make sense, i doubt she will come back on the Normandy afterwards. Hey maybe one of the things Bioware are keeping secret is the fact that Liara BECOMES the Shadow Broker, like she replaces him/her after they are defeated. That would be very interesting, she does say that she is a very good information broker after all.

Failing that just do what I did and trade in games (if that's an option ofc). 4 games gave me even more money then needed for some Microsoft Points.

I don't know why people want or expect to have DLC like this for free. Ultimately the money you spend will in part be re-invested back into the company and games like Mass Effect 3 will be better for it.

Considering ME 2 runs just fine without its content and is not missing what has been offered.   This statement is just kind of here then isn't it.

All kidding aside, I think the pricing has been fair so far, and if achievements are anything to go by (5 achievements for one DLC compared to 4 combined for all the other DLCs) this should have enough content to warrant a three dollar increase in price.
