Soooooo excited for this. Hell, I'm toying with the idea of another ME1 playthrough just for second character who romanced Liara.

someone on the ign boards thought of something interesting.... they said that the consort from me1 could be the shadow broker....
Why would she still be in business if she had been selling everyones secrets for the last god knows how many years.
If you have a secret, and you only tell one person and it eventually gets out. It's pretty obvious where the leak has come from.. No one would tell her anything.

I'm not so sure Jack wouldn't be opposed to the concept at this point. And it isn't so clear with Liara either.Argetfalcon wrote...
I wish you could continue your relationship with the romance you already have in addition to Liara. I mean from what I learned from Mass Effect 1 and 2 neither Liara or Jack are oppose to a menage-a-trois

Most DLC is 800 points nowadays, why is it suddenly blasphemous for Bioware to do the same for one of their largest DLCs?

Do any of you people realise that the pricing system is actually decided by Microsoft?
Might be MS or EA in this case. They are both soulless and greedy corporations that would do just about anything for money.
I remeber an article Bungie posted on thier website a while back when they were releasing new multiplayer maps for Halo 3. First they released 2 maps for free and then they wanted to do the same with the other maps (not sure if for all of them). And then they said that the publisher (Microsoft game studios) had thier reasons to put a (over)price tag on the map packs. So along the lines of that article the devs were basically saying that they had no problem making some free stuff and give back something in return to the huge community of fans that made Halo what it is today. But Microsoft disagrees and wants to squeeze every penny they can out of people (aka they have their reasons). You get the drift.
I'll post a link to that Bungie article if I can find it.

Yup pretty much. For DLC microsoft has a set system about the pricings based on what it is and size I think. So character packs and such are something like 560-800, game expansions are normally 800-1200 and add-ons, like change in gear of whatever, are priced at below 560. I think it's something like that.
To be honest I wouldn't have been suprised is Overlord was priced at 800, which made me plesantly surprised when I went and downloaded it and found it at 560. Which is strange for an expansion, not matter what the size is. I think these measures have been put in recently, which might explain why ME1 DLC were a lot cheaper and even earlier things like Rainbow 6 Vegas map packs are in fact free.

i think her armor looks great.
but i thought BW said they werent going to add any more squad members... seems kind of weird if you can continue to pursue a relationship with liara but she wont come with you... seems kind of lame if you ask me.
Oh, not in my book. It shows just how good Liara is. The presence of husks/reaper tech tells us that some very bad hoodoo is going down, and reinforces something everyone knows, but doesn't want to think about.
The Reapers are coming fast, and time is quckly running to prepare.
Being in love with Liara entails having to trust her on her own now. She can't be everywhere, so while he/she works on her side of things, Liara can work on hers. Building a team isn't the most important thing now, now Shep needs an army, a navy, whole nations stepping up into full on war footing.
Liara can help there. Besides, being apart and working hard will only make the time she and Shep get to spend togerher all the sweeter.

Yeah, same. I had saved 800 points in a an effort to get Overlord but I managed to get both Overlord and one of the weapon packs that I was missing. I was pleased.

This.
This and Retribution's story show that the time has passed to "find clues." They're already here and have sent their scouts, it's just a matter of getting your allies together and fighting them off.

With the "just" being girding the entire sentient galaxy for the greatest, bloddiest, and costliest war in all of galactic history.
That's something I really hope get hammered home mercilessly in ME3. A single ship and a kickass team isn't going to amount to **** in the face of the Reapers. Fleets will be wiped out, whole populations exterminated and entire worlds smashed and cratered into lifeless balls of radioactive rock, but we must keep fighting. I want ME3 to be a resounding story of crushing despair, loss and tragedy with an overriding theme of nothing but savage defiance and grim fortitude to force everyone one to a hopeful victory or sorts.
Frankly, I hope Earth gets glassed.
Wrex: "Forget races and creeds for a moment. What do you hold dear? Thats what we're all fighting for. No form up on me, and lets take that ****ing hill!"
