I really don't think they look ANYTHING alike
The only likeness is in the Handle Design, but other than that, they're starkly different

The armor Shepard is wearing in the squad screenshot I'm pretty sure is new. The shoulder pads do not match any of the shoulder pads available in the current ME2 armor selection, DLC included.

So new armor too.

I think he means the new AR doesn't look like the Revenant...

The 2nd and 3rd are teh regular N7 armor and the first one has armor peices you can buy in ME2 nothing new armor-wise.

I think the armor looks like existing pieces, but I could be mistaken...

Probably what to do with the Shadow Broker once you get your hands on him.

I have a hunch that one of the endings will be killing him, and the other will be recruiting him in the war against the Reapers, not as a squad mate but more as an informant, like for objectives, cutting edge technology, and so on.

At first I thought both endings would have Shepard either killing the Broker either politely or angrily, but then I realized that helping Liara take down the Observer in the retail game nets you Renegade points, which didn't make sense.

Hopefully, though, each ending will be unique and impacting.

I got Paragon points for taking down anybody associated with the Shadow Broker (including Observer) and Renegade points for hacking into the consoles.

As did I.

I think that, for once, this mission could have an ending that is irrelevant of whether or not you have Shepard as a Paragon or a Renegade.

On the other hand, there is a saving grace for your idea. The issue with having him survive is that unless Feron is actually still alive, you will have to convince Liara to simply get over him and agree to live with the fact that the Shadow Broker is needed in the war against the Reapers. Given her emotional state and the obsession she has gained in even locating him, I find this to be an impossibility. The consequence for this could be that if you allow the Shadow Broker to live on the terms that he help you with the Reapers, Liara is more or less done as a squadmate even in ME3. Likewise, this could also end your romance with her. This could possibly even require you to kill Liara if she refuses to let it go, which is something that has been done in the past with Wrex in having to kill a squadmate to further the mission's goals.

On the other hand, how would you be able to enforce this? The Shadow Broker is only loyal to money and unlike TIM, has no ulterior motives that we can see for what he does besides this fact. The Shadow Broker is either a single man or a group of people with an extensive contact network that allows them to get information from just about any source. The only way Shepard would ever allow him to live is if the Shadow Broker either stayed on the Normandy or was directly employed into Cerberus.

I just double checked, and I'm pretty sure I own all the armor you can buy in ME2, and those shoulder pads match nothing in my inventory.

Nice! Can't wait! Any release date yet? I hope it's 2X better than Overlord, which was great in my opinion! Hopefully those audio files didn't spoil everything for us. :D

Really? then you must not have all the armor because it looks like the Stabalization Gauntlets and Amplifier Pads

First, you show him the Normandy's guns.

Next, you show him the Normandy's guns after Garrus is no longer in the middle of calibrating them.

Then, you tie him to the business end of the Normandy's expertly calibrated guns.

He will swear allegiance to you after that.

I have them, and unless they look significantly different on male Shepard (and looking at the Mass Effect wiki, they dont), then its not them.

The legs dont match any of the legs I have either.

I enjoyed this very much. Especially the reference to Garrus and his gun calibrations when the guns aren't even used until the suicide mission.

Anyways, the Shadow Broker isn't necessarily the most accountable person to rely upon unless you keep a close eye on him at all times. Liara has slaved for two years just to locate the guy and I have a hunch she got lucky she could find him in this DLC at all. If tabs aren't kept up on him, he'll just disappear into the shadows and be nearly impossible to find. Regardless, BioWare would find a way to keep him under control.

Personally, I find the idea of recruiting him to be the most fascinating idea only because of how it will impact your relationship with Liara. I would absolutely love to have a Wrex situation here where you are forced to kill her from that option unless you can pass a Charm/Intimidation check that will persuade her to listen to you.

I think you might be missing the subtle details and shape because what I see the first image all I see is the Stabalization Gauntlets and Amiplifier Pads.

and the other ones are definetly just default N7 armor. Also most pieces do look quite different on Male shep.

Is this going to be an add-on or add-in? Interesting...will Liara be the 13th squad member and if so will she bring bad luck?

I was only ever talking about the squad image, which isn't those two mentioned, but indeed N7 armor.

My bad. I dont play male Shepard, and fem Shepard's N7 armor has some differences.

The legs might be the Kestral armor legs but the chest plate is N7.
