According to the ME2 twitter feed, SB goes down in this DLC.  The whole SB thing may not have ever been about who the SB was, but who will fill his/her shoes. 

However, what you do with his/her's information network could be your Paragon/Renegade choice

Maybe give it to TIM, L'iara, or the Alliance?

I say the Reapers...........I would give It to the Alliance If that choice pops up.

As far as I remember, one of ME developers clearly stated after releasing Kasumi DLC that there will be no more permament squad members.

Yep, I read that too.  Liara won't be a squad mate.  What she will be, well, we'll have to wait and see. 

If you listent to the DLc audio files, you'd see that she doesn't become a squaddie. But that could be just one possible ending. Perhabs she resides in the captains cabin for those who have her as an LI. But then again, that's probably just wishful thinking. (Although the captains cabin does have the description that includes - Team Members: None) We'll just have to wait and see. Although I sincerely hope that the ending in the audio file is just one of the possible endings instead of the only one. Otherwise it'd be rather disappointing.

So I wonder how this will make sense. If you do kill the Shadow Broker, it won't be very believable (most dangerous dude in the galaxy taken down in a 30min mission?). If you don't, it makes the DLC pretty pointless.



As for Liara, it made very little sense she didn't join up with you in ME2. For her to stay on Illium AFTER you help her take care of the SB is completely unbelievable. I have no idea how they could come up with a believable reason for her to stay. I mean, she's either in love or frighteningly obsessed with Shepard. What possible excuse could they come up with that makes sense for her character and isn't just "we decided she's staying even if it doesn't make sense"?

This is very good news not only more DLC but Liara returning to action again.  Look forward to the release of this one.   All we need now is a Wrex DLC and the ME1 team is back together again.

The the DLC files you are talking about are empy. The sound files on youtube are in a diffrent file, they where cut from the game. People have checked and they where empy, that youtube video was false.

Yep, I read that too.  Liara won't be a squad mate.  What she will be, well, we'll have to wait and see. 

I don't think she will be either, unless they overhaul the 360 controls, because there is physically no way to control her on the Dpad with the system they have now.

By squadmate, I meant she would not come back on board the Normandy after the mission.  I think she will be on the mission w/ Shep though.  She better be.  Of course BW can stretch the meaning of a word beyond its breaking point, so "joining" Liara may be the same thing as "joining"  the crazy doctor in Overlord.

The cut audio files were in with her standard ME2 audio files, plus, she mentions the Collectors. It's more likely this is cut ME2 content and won't be used in DLC.

Those were cut audio files that are little more than trash. The Liara DLC folders were completely empty. What you've just said is a common misconception.

I certainly hope so. But what makes you think the audio was cut? It seemed pretty authentic to me. And other people checked the game files and were able to find them. Are you sure it was cut?
