Almost everything and nothing where said in this topic already but I wish to add one more thing: If this is all about money (and it seams quite logical - low sales of DLCs, high cost of translations, low profit, no point of realising it in those countries) please rethink it. In Poland for example we have "Redemption", "Ascension" and will have rest of the books. If publishers see opportunity to make some profits on "Mass Effect" why You don't? With new books coming the interest about this universe will rise. And if this is truly some technical issues, You should also think about it, if publishers see that opportunity maybe it is worth to try fix that technical problems?

She said "or I'll flay you alive... with my mind" which is a "subtle" hint at her Biotics being able to tear other non-biotic organic beings in half ;)

Well to be fair Male Shepard has been known to possess that ability too, during romantic encounters many a lady has professed that he nearly split them in ha.......... I probably shouldn't finish this sentence come to think of it :D

Now erm on to other things, is anyone else here hoping Garrus swallows the keys to the Hammerhead in this DLC ?  I enjoyed the overlord but got a bit tired of that Mario/Frogger leaping damn tank, the only thing in this DLC I want jumping up and down is Liara on top of Shepard :P

ME 2 is third best selling game on PC (data gathered from 19 to 25 july) and 4th on X360 in Poland... so i think the "financial aspect" is bul....it.

It has nothing to do with DLC sales.

Hi,

still no word from BW? Any word about word? Time and place when the answers will rain upon us? :)

I understand the concerns, earlier I posted them too but the time to post your discontent and sow discord can wait, I'd refrain from negative posts and all the bickering which I skimmed through (from page 52!) and wait for some info from the dev team...On the other side - they should at least inform us if they are addressing the problem and 'til when we have to wait for an answer - already dropped a napalm bomb, so it would be wise to defuse it...a little. I think.

You are assuming Bioware/EA Poland is working according to logic, which is not always the case with corporations. Yes, there are plenty of companies who are lazy/dumb/retarded,etc. Think of how Bioware could've handled this differently:

"Hi guys,

I just want to let you know that the Lair of the Shadow Broker will not be available in the selected countries. This is due to some file modifications in these localised versions that turned out to be clashing with new content from the DLC. We have done our best to fix that, however in the end it will mean a significant rewrite of the code for each localised version, something that we do not have manpower to do right now.

Once again I'm very sorry for the situation. Please, if you're interested in the DLC download the English version of ME2 by registering it with your EA Download Manager. This will allow you to enjoy Lair of the Shadow Broker and all the upcoming DLC with no problems. For players who have edited their versions to get English voices/subtitles, the DLC will also work. While this method is not supported by us, and we cannot provide any technical support for those of you doing that we wanted at least to let you know that it works.

I understand some player like to play games in their native language, and once again I'm very sorry that we couldn't make this happen. Please be assured that we will try our best to avoid situations like that with ME3, we hope you will enjoy the ending to Shepard's epic trilogy!

Best regards,
Bioware"

Took me 10 minutes. See how much better it is?

I'm really hoping we can nudge Liara into either becoming like her old self in ME1 (paragon) or hardening her into being more renegade.

Whats going to happen with this DLC once the GOTY edition comes out? Will it be included for all regions by then?

There may not be a GOTY edition (though I suspect there will be).

it's not a matter of politics or education as for ME2 all who legally pay=all of us are equally entitled to get same [not localised=eng] DLC...so it seems TOTALLY offtopic that u bring "east vs west" or any politics into it......
i've said MEH!

I wasn't actually bringing it in, as much as having a "somebody is wrong on the Internet" moment. Which was really beneath me. No apologies, though. :P

And... entitlement, it does figure a lot on these forums, doesn't it?

Glad to see the topic's back on tr.......nope, thread's still focusing on the lack of DLC for 4 countries.

My main character chose to loyal with Liara, just hoping this DLC will not end up Liara won't join Shephard's team or many of us will be heartbroken....

Btw, if Liara DLC comes out, that should also meant Ashley DLC is highly likely come right after this, what do you think?

Why Ashley and not Wrex/Kaidan? Any of them can die in ME1.

I doubt we'll get a Virmire Survivor DLC any time soon.

If a DLC comes out, it better be about Wrex's plan to unify krogan clans, and how we help him... that wold be worth it.

Bioware, I would buy a Wrex DLC on the spot, just to have my old team back.

Shep: Soldier

Garrus: Sniper, Tech

tali: Pure Tech, hacker.

Wrex: trusty biotic tank.

sigh... good times, good times.

At the very best Liara will join the Normandy as an NPC. She will not be a recruitable character like Tali, Miranda, Grunt, Thane, or the rest of the crew.

Seriously, dont expect it. At all. You will be disappointed.

Are you always so negative?

Garrus "well, there is the small chance I will be pleasantly surprise".

Other words.... think bad. If it doesn't happen your happy, if it does happen, you;ll be smug ....yeah I know it was gona happen...
