the only thing I have ever wanted for ME and DAO that i think is lacking from both games is a meaningful Base, Similiar in fashion to the cross roads keep of NWN2. I mean vigils keep and to a lesser extent wardens peak are very very sad knock offs and the normandy sr2 is in the same boat,



I would love to take over an ancient prothean space station and invest funds and matierials and reqruit npc's to man and work it. Havew them come up with new weapons tech or side quests I dont know just SOMEthing that i can upgrade and delve into that grants something special.

At a guess, I'd assume the new AR is just an upgraded automatic assault rifle. ME2 doesn't really have any of these - you've got the Avenger, but the damage on that is so bad that it's offensive, the GPR, which is only available on certain difficulties and carries a bizarre mix of additions (such as variable rates of fire and SMG-like stats), the Vindicator, which isn't really an assault rifle at all, and the Collector Assault Rifle - which has a really low fire rate and looks like a prawn.

Oh yeah, and the Revenant, which is less Assault Rifle and more Autocannon. Not that that's a bad thing, but not much good for non-modding non-soldiers.

It would be nice to have something comparable to the Spectre X AR.

Amen to that i hope the ne AR wil well  have good amo arate,damage and precision because uh i use revenant beacause of the amo capacity...oh how i mis my good old trusty spectre x weaponry

Nope, you are wrong lol. I think that the SB is just one part of a large organization of antagonists (a league of  evil) that includes Hitler's ghost and Conrad Werner and various other wacky, random people. The SB himself is some unremarkable, boring character who's name is as generic as John Smith. I HAVE SPOKEN

I like the idea of the SB being a Krogan. I've always had the impression that Krogan's are 'doers', not 'planners', and so a Krogan turning up in that role would be an interesting OOC situation - for me, anyway.

Actually don't worry about having a base. Why not have a whole planet to call your own. I mean this is ME after all. I say they let us take over Ilos as a base of opperations for ME3 and we could use the planet in an RTS fashion. CAn you say: WAR!
