While ME: Redemption comic & story events from ME2 heavily suggest otherwise that TIM =/= SB, the ONLY plausabe explantion if it were, true, which I'm 99.99% certain it isn't the case, if TIM had finally cracked and developed a multiple personality disorder where 1 personality wasn't aware of the other 1.  Why would TIM lie so much about the SB, especially if "he" were an information gathering rival & its business in the storyline of ME2/redemption threatened humanity as a whole?

It definitely ties into the comics..... she even mentions her "friend" in game, so if youve read the comics you know who shes talking about.



as for the identity of the Shadow Broker..... Miranda's dad?? although that would beg the question, why would he need someone else to find his own daughter i suppose........

That's been my theory as well, it's either Miranda's Dad or Thax.

The theory that it's Miranda's dad seems to be supported by TIM's willingness to take Miranda in. If you take her on the mission to kill him, she probably won't even say a word though.

If is Thax... thats two damn favors I did the guy already... and if so, I will enjoy doing every renegade thing I can think/allow to do to him....if is a krogan... and "thax" can really try that trick Zaeed said, about putting a knife between the ears and plate see if the plate actually comes out that easily.
