I imagine that race to look that dancing bird enemy in final fantasy 13 for some reason.

It looks like Shepard has a new shotgun in the one picture with Tali and Garrus. In the other picture where hes shooting it looks like a new assault rifle and it looks like where his shotgun is looks somewhat like the Geth pulse rifle

and i think not cos SB could as well hire vorchas and this points to nothing

You have a point there. But we don't know if there are any other guards. There was a dead asari, so who was she?

Hmm, I wouldnt say so. Pretty much every single gang, mercenary group, and organisation in both Mass Effect titles hire humans regardless of which race started them, excluding the more exclusive race specific stuff like Asari Commando units. Based on the screenshots, the Shadowbroker could be any race.

Deep down though I just hope he/she/it is not human. As much as I might question some of BioWare's writing choices across all Mass Effect media, making the Shadowbroker human would be freakin' atrocious and make absolutely zero sense. Even though I can see it coming, I'll always hold on to a shred of hope that BioWare wont end the trilogy with "HUMANITY IS SUPER SPECIAL AND AMAZING ^_^" cliche sci-fi rubbish, but having the Shadowbroker as human would just confirm that the writers have a raging hard-on for mankind.

Oh well. Fingers crossed. Even though I'd also consider the Shadowbroker being an AI pretty crappy writing, I'll happily take it and anything at all over him/her/it being a human.

Aslo, I was thinking about the release date for this, and I'm thinking we might not actually get it until late August or even September. We know the weapon pack is coming out before it, and if BioWare want to keep up their once-a-month trend of DLC releases then I think the weapon pack will come in August, and then Liara a bit after that closer or just into September.

Those human like soldiers you fight in the screens might as well be batarians. They have the same body build save the heads. There are several missions where for example the Blue Sun soldiers seem human, but speak like batarians.

Totally buying this dlc if that is included lol

Although I reallllllllllllllllllllllly wish I had the option to kill Liara....She is (unfortunately) an integral part to the main plot it seems.

In terms of just all around team mates from the main games I've always liked Wrex, Ashley, Garus, Legion, Miranda, and Samara from an actual useful perspective.

Always Found Liara useless in terms of ME1 she just dies.....alot, at least in my games.

In terms of love intrests tottally wasn't digging the asari love in the first game thought the ashley love was better done but Samara and the romance story in the second game was frikken fierce I always pursue that romance line until the point we are about to kiss and then she biotic barriers and goes for a walk. Tali's and jack romance woulld be my next favorites followed by miranda, though I pretty much stay loyal to ashley even though I want to shoot her in the face with a bean bag gun after the drama she pulled in ME2

This wouldn't surprise me, to be honest.  After all......wasn't he the one that questioned Liara's loyalty in ME 1?  I can't remember if it was him or the Salarian Councilor.

Shadow broker is the turian counselor. Think about It, He can dismiss anything thrown his way. The only things that are real are what he says are true.
