I really have a bad feeling that liara is going die in this dlc. Laira is so full revenge what will she do when the shadowbroker is died? Will she join? or will she die.. or will she help in ME3 i believe she will for sure. as she is already coming back in 2 games..

Bah i don't know... what do you guy's think?

She better not. Killing off major characters just for giggles isn't cool anymore. It'd be like Chewbacca dying in ESB. Bleh.

Besides, Liara being a central character in ME1 - more than the other squad members: she is instrumental in finding out about Ilos, her mother is part of the plot, plus she is a LI for male&female, and it is she who saves Shepard - dying in a DLC is too cheap a death. I think... I hope, that at most she will have a suicide mission like dying chance.

If someone at Bioware wants her dead, they should give her the respect she deserves: dying in the main game, not a DLC! :wizard:

Six (if i am not mistaken) days from hour zero... and still not a one single answer...

I would assume that after six days with no word, they're operating a 'hands-off' policy - they've done it before.

Sometimes the outcome is positive - like when they clammed up after mentioning PC ME1 was going to require permanent connection to the internet as part of DRM, but it ended up with just online authentication.

I've got as much sympathy for your position as the next guy... but let's not get completely daft. I'm fairly sure the purpose of this DLC isn't to offend hungarians. :?

I believe its main purpose is to offend Poles, Hungarians just happen to live in the same region.

I known that some people brought here those Liara audio files as possible spoilers for this DLC but there is one incorrection there with put those files under question.

So far many hints shows that this DLC will take part after C-Base when in those files is part that after finishing whit SB Liara start hunting his observer placed on Illium...

As far as i remember in all my games Nyxeris is cold dead so i really don't see any possibility to match those two events unless there will be another observer who will guard first one... but this would be snake eating his tail casus...

Those audio files were extracted from the same place as her other ME2 dialog, and were not taken from the file labeled 'LiaraDLC'.  This is why I just think it's cut ME2 content and has nothing to do with this DLC.

She'd better not die in this DLC, or bad things will happen!

What hints? Nobody from BioWare, as far as I've read, has hinted even slightly that the Liara DLC will take place after the end mission.

And while I really hope the DLC does not take place entirely on Illum, the screenshots all look like Illium archetecture and art assets.

I think it might begin on Illium, but after this opening section, Liara/Shepard and crew will travel around the galaxy, taking out SB bases, etc.

Or maybe it was placed in her other ME2 dialogue package to prevent people from finding it in the LiaraDLC, which they did anyway. Like I said before, if they're not using those audio files, its as simple as deleting them and resaving the package. That's all. Unfortunately it looks like thats the way the DLC ends, or at least one of the endings if we can have a choice.

She won't die in this DLC. Not just based off of the audio files, but the fact that Bioware wants to keep her alive for Mass 3.

The only real hint is that Bioware has stated that they intend to start producing DLCs that begin to take the story into ME3. Add to the situation that going after someone as powerful as the Shadow broker during the fight against the Collectors is a bit... ridiculous, and hence, you have the conclusion.

Why would they do that?  People found Kasumi DLC files prior to the release of that DLC...it doesn't appear they were concerned about hiding those files from people.  If they were, they wouldn't have included them in the first place.

... Still no response (even just 'yes, we f*cking acknowledge that some of you are pissed off, stay tuned for bigger answer') from BioWare?

Meh, Godot would be faster.

i think this dlc have a really bad ending. i think at the end when you find sb there will be 2 option.first:you kill sb and liara would be loyal to you and she join your crew or she ask you to let her to do some small job in illium then she join your group for me3.

second : sb offer you some good information about reapers and even some salvage parts of soverin that it help you to defeat reapers easier.if you accept this sb will be alive and liara would be angry and she leave you for ever.

what do you think?

C'maaaaan!
Also, the way I see it ending: You confront the "shadow broker" (who/whatever he/she/they is/are), and that's settled one way or another, but the Drell isn't saved and Liara goes off to find him, and you can't follow because you have other things to do. I'd rather get Liara back as a companion for the collector base mission but I like to aim low to start with.
Also, if the shadow broker is one person, I want to be able to headbutt them like I did Uvenk, they surely have it comming, after all.

Maybe they won't kill Liara. Maybe they will cripple her. How would you feel about a Liara missing an arm, confined to a hoverchair, or being stripped of her biotic abilities?
