Ah yes. Personally, I dont think the DLC will be bridge content, but I do thino content after this pack will fit that description. I'm also not really convinced BioWare wouldn't shove an adventure of that magnitude in the middle of ME2, as one could somewhat say the same for Overlord, especially considering how Overlord make Cerberus look.

Oh well. I guess we'll find out soon enough. My guess is that this coming Tuesday will see the release of the new weapon pack, and the Liara DLC will launch on the 31st, or the first Tuesday of September. Always Tuesday. Always.

While I dont think its worth holding too much weight in the cut audio, I dont see why you need to scoff at people discussing it. The content is there, and there's no evidence to suggest it will or wont be reused. Kasumi's cut content, for example, was used in nearly its entirety.

I mean, its obvious that BioWare planned to do a Liara Vs. Shadowbroker mission, and early in design they probably had it chalked up to ship with the game, but in the end had to cut it (like most developers do) and saved it for DLC. We dont know how things have changed. Maybe they have completely overhauled the mission, or maybe its being developed to match the original design, and thus original audio.

Who knows? Not me.

To be honest i really have no idea how Bioware plan to block any possibility to finish SB mission before C-Base unless there will be special trigger hidden between missions which will be activated under certain circumstances.



Maybe even this could be trigger by EDI when after post C-Base mission she could report Shepard that during Collector data examination she found SB related files including location of his main hideout.



On the other hand... i can't imagine Liara on board of Normandy during Samara's L-mission... especially if Shepard stays loyal to her as Li and Liara learn the truth about Morinth capabilites...



Fight between Jack and Miri will look like kindergarten argument...

It wouldn't be hard. Just make finishing the Suicide Mission a requirement for the DLC mission becomes active and you're set.

There was actually a Bioware employee on /v/ who said they were making this dlc and i believe that was all the way back in March. Of course I take his claim at being an employee with great skepticism; still his claim about this dlc turned out to be right. Could be a lucky guess but you never know. If any one is interested I can dig up the screenshot from my laptop.

I assumed they were going to add this in the third installment. By doing so, Liara would've re-joined Shepard and the broke shadowman would've been her loyalty mission, in theory.

Yeah, but it would have been planned even earlier, as the game itself shipped with Liara Vs. Shadowbroker related dialogue hidden in the files. So, at some pople, the Liara Vs. Shadowbroker mission was planned. It might have been something they always intended to do as DLC, or it might have been something they intended to have shipped with the game, but had to cut due to time restraints.

Either way, the Liara Vs. Shadowbroker mission has, in some form, been in development for the past six months at least.

No weapons are included in this. That's a different dlc coming prior to this one.

(If you were talking to me) I know those weapons aren't included, but they haven't explicity said, to my knowledge, that there will be no weapons, and I am not expecting any, but it would be cool.

Are you serious? We have enough weapons as it is. Most people don't want more guns, we want more story content and + armor pieces like the aegis pack. A gun is a gun. They all end at the same thing - someone dies. No need for a new model if it does the same thing. Yeah, it might have a different projectile and sound, but come on. I'd take story/armor over weapons any day. We have enough weapons.

I agree there isn't any real reason to have weapons, but I can hope.
And Polite, a few extra weapons won't take much time to add in.
