Say what you will. I'd like her to return but I still dont think she will, and the same goes for Garrus and Tali.

I agree about Liara, but i dont see why Garrus and Tali wouldnt return on Normandy. Garrus has nothing better to do. And if Tali gets exiled, then she has no place to go except Normandy. Dont forgot that they are truly loyal to Shepard aswell they both know, that Reapers are coming and it wouldnt make sense if they just runaway from Shep.

No, Liara is much more likely to return than Tali or Garrus. Moreover, Miranda, as the character with the highest level of appeal among mainstream players (not the Talimancer-infested land that is BW forums), is more likely as well.

Observe this post I put up a while ago detailing why Liara is perhaps the most likely to return.

You do realise your logic could be readily applied, almost word for word, to both Tali and Garrus, right? Your list reads far more like a Liara love-letter than any valued or substantial evidence to suggest she will return in Mass Effect 3 as a squadmate, at least no moreso than a number of other characters.

Say what you will. I'd like her to return but I still dont think she will, and the same goes for Garrus and Tali.

You didn't even read it, did you? Nope, all of it is objective (minus the obviously subjective ones that I pointed out so people like you wouldn't have too big of an issue determining which they were. Perhaps I should highlight them in flashing colors so it gets through to you.)

You're living in the Tali-adoring microcosm that is the BW forums. I'm willing to bet any amount of money that if you looked at the statistics BW collected, Miranda would come out on top overall.

So? What's your point? My statement all along has been nothing other than I dont think Liara will return as a squadmate, and that I think BioWare will write her character as a supportive role. That, and, all arguments I've seen for Liara return could be applied to other characters as well (mentioning Miranda just proves my point).

Why are you getting so defensive about this? I've stated numerous times already that I could be wrong, and this is simply how I think things will pan out. Its like as soon as I said "I dont think Liara will return as a squadmate" you flipped out because I said something negative about your oh-so-precious favourite character.

Take a chill pill dudebro.

:)This is great news.  Having romanced Liara in Mass Effect 1 I was so disapointed with her cameo appearance in Mass Effect 2, that was one of the few things that really pissed me off about the game.  Now thankfully bioware are rectifying the error and giving us new DLC featuring Liara.

It looks like its going to be interesting.  I'm not sure I like the idea of having to download yet another weapons pack after having downloaded so many already but I'll get it, depends really what it contains.

Looking at the screenshots Liar of the Shadow Broker looks like its going to be even more awesome than Overlord was, I especially like Liara's new look.  Hopefully helping Liara in the DLC will pave the way for her to rejoin Shepard and co for Mass Effect 3.

Damn it. I forget what I going to type. Oh yes this. Releasing this, is this from posters from this forum to have something substantial for Liara for this game because of the events from the last game.

In those two years thinking that Shepard is dead, Shepard is being reconstructed in secret and after two years Shepard comes out from the blue working in a organisation that Shepard fought against (in the side quest) in the last game and everybody in this forums thinks they welcome Shepard with open arms. If I was Shepard's former companions I be very very suspected about it. There is a lot of greys in this game.

Then I be very disappointed and should of left it in the third game. I'm afraid its going to backfire if it dose not turn out good. After all the negative whinging about this game after release that I felt like cutting my wrists and bleed myself out.

Or this suppose to be in the finish product?

If that is the case I be

angry.

Indeed...it's not going to be free...I hope not, because that would mean they didn't put any money or resources into it, and it would consequently suck.

Uhh NO. It sure as hell better not be free. They need money to keep working on delivering top notch DLC, especially the bridging ones.

About the Liara as an ME3 squad mate debate, her plot armor could mean that, indeed, they do want to save her so she can become a squad mate in ME3. Or, they may want to save her so she can fill a plot-critical but non-squad mate role in ME3.

It could logically be both, from what we know at this time. This DLC may shed some light on the future direction of her character...or not. I'm hoping it does.

I just hope this DLC doesn't take place on Illium. I mean come on.

Shepard-"Hey Liara, remember when you said you finally tracked the Shadow Broker down?"

Liara-"Yes, LETS GO!"

Shepard-"Uhh.....yeah, turn around."

*Sign reads, "Shadow Broker, located three floors down*

Shepard-"At this point, I don't even know if I want to help you."

Absolutely, since the collectors/protheans were also implicated in the tug of war of Shepard's body two years ago.

I wouldn't mind if this is payed DLC, but I can understand people wanting this to be free since it is actually vital to the story. Not everyone is going to be able to buy it, and it'd be a shame not to be able to since its dealing with a plot event, and not some random thing like Overlord. But then again I see the same thing with Kasumi, she should have been free as well. But that's just my opinion, no need to go spreading it around or anything.:P

Agreed! Same feeling toward the DLC. The more money they get, the more they'll have to continue making top quality DLC.

Other than finding out who/what the SB is & "him" getting what he deserves from Shepard & Liara, I hope some other questions are answered:

1. Who got Shepard's body 1st, or rather, how it was received?  Why was a SB agent 1st on the scene instead of the Collectors getting it?

2. What was the SB offered by the Collectors to betray Shepard & his allies (comic kept it vague as well), considering he gave us a "freebie" in ME1 to bring down Saren by helping us find Tali?

3. Will the Cerberus data $ payment choice ever be mentioned from a ME 1 side quest?

4. Will Matriarch Aethyta be offered a job as the bartenderess on the Normandy?!?;)
