No, not yet (for those who actually buy it anyways, pirates are of course enjoying it already).

Don't go on the forums during that period then. Just leave the computer and check the official dlc page the next day. Simple. And of course you can give constructive criticism - but clearly when that criticism sounds silly, people will tell you that (nothing stopping you from still doing it, so go ahead).

Fine you are hunky dory and happy about this practice that is good for you theelementslayer. I am not happy with this practice I am not asking for anything special here I am just asking that PC gamers get access to this content at the same time as Xbox gamers. Any one would think I am asking Bioware to do something "extraordinarily special" here.

Hell I would even accept a minor delay of an hour for the PC content, I don't expect it to be released together at the exact same second. However to have 4 - 6 hour delays with this DLC content is ridiculous in my books and unlike others on here I can't see any viable excuse for it.

Wow, that's ridiculous. I've already played it!

They really should release stuff at the same time and for everyone. It doesn't seem right this way. Posted ImagePosted Image

Why are 4-6 hours so bad, but 1 isn't? It's not like you're stuck in an airport? Go out into town, hang out with your mates - surely you're not stuck in a desert with nothing but your computer, this forum and ME2??

Either that or BioWare will retain their silence and say nothing more other than "we're sorry".

Judging by what they did with Bioware Bazaar, this is likely to be it.

Its Biowares way of telling you to get a job so you are not sitting around waiting for downloadable sci-fi guns for your space hero all day. ;)

Can we get back to letting the Liara fans squeeeeee about her return now. That was fun.

Why do I have to keep repeating myself ?  In 4 - 6 hours story based content can be finished and spoilers spread on the forum before PC gamers even get a damn chance to start to download the DLC.  A delay of an hour will still give PC gamers plenty of time to get access to the DLC before spoilers start appearing on the forum.

An hour delay whilst not "ideal" is acceptable, but a 4 - 6 hour wait (and it could be longer we don't know yet) isn't acceptable.  If you really can't understand where I am coming from there is very little point in me trying to explain it to you.

Mircrosoft controls the xbox marketplace, Bioware controls the PC DLC page. They can ask microsoft to release it on a specific day/time but what can Bioware do if Mircrosoft screws it up. Tell mircrosoft to pull it from the xbox and then make everyone unhappy? Itll be released, the 6 hour "ridiculous" time difference really cant be changed. So go outside, enjoy the sun and have a beer. Maybe when you come back inside itll be waiting for you. The only reason Im here is because your a good form of entertainment at the workplace

Yes the 6 hour time difference can be changed, seriously it seems some on here think Bioware are not able to do anything. If Microsoft have a habit of releasing the DLC early then hey why not make the PC DLC release just as early then ? If there is a set pattern to when Microsoft releases the DLC then make the PC DLC release to that same pattern.

Oh and please stop telling me what to do or not do with my time. I have plenty of things to do but there is also the principle of the issue here. It is ridiculous that PC gamers are kept waiting for this DLC by Bioware if you can't understand that then like I said there is no point me trying to explain it to you.

As long as it comes out on the same day, not a big deal.

Yes, and we responded to that already, where we said that you should simply avoid the forums, and just check the official DLC page sometime later, and in the mean time go outside or whatever.  Why is that so difficult to do.  I'm currently out of the UK, and won't be back until mid September, so very probably I'll be away from these forums for quite a while.  What will I do - I'll enjoy my bloody holiday, lol!

Ah yes, the priciple of the issue, we have dissmissed that claim

You know you are right, it is ridiculous that we are kept waiting 6 hours for the DLC by Bioware. I undestand now.

Its such a hardship that weapons will not be availbe to you for 2 more hours, Oh noes. And of course your bellyaching will make Bioware move its feet much quicker, when a person complains about the realease time Bioware staff will jump right on it just to please you.

Of course your right, how could I have been so blind for so long. Bioware, please me, please me. Its not like they have a company to run.

Oh and BTW, if you have lots of stuff to do then why are you complaining on the forums, shouldnt you be out, you know doing your stuff?

Yep that seems to be the answer to most peoples complaints on this board reply with sarcasm. It is funny how anyone that tries to raise legitimate issues with Bioware on this board get "sarcastic" replies.

Perhaps if more people on this board got behind those that are complaining about these issues we might actually get something done about them, but hey I forgot Bioware are perfect and do no wrong and thus we must not raise any objections/complaints or concerns on this board whatsoever.

Anyway I have said my piece if Bioware think it is acceptable to treat PC gamers like second class gamers then I know where I stand and will act accordingly in future.

I think if we're to talk about the grander principle or issue here, then let's be honest, it's really about people being far too hot-wired to their computers, or even addicted to their games - and to me I feel like that's what this argument has actually been about. Probably, everyone here hopes they're not one of them, but I suspect less of them make a conscious effort to prevent it from happening. Watching the frenzy that happens on these forums whenever new DLC comes out really makes you think about this. This is why I try to get mates to come out as much as possible!

To charmingcharlie, I think most agree that it is silly DLC is not released simultaneously for everyone. However, you are so complacent that you are warranting some of the sarcasm directed at you...

Nah I reply with sarcasm because your claim is utterly ridiculous. Just becasue its not release in the same hour your ready to chastize Bioware on how they treat PC gamers like second class gamers. Seriously going to go down that route. They created a different combat mechanic in PCs and xboxs for DA to utilize the full potential of the PC. They still use hotkeys for PC, they allow custom key bindings. Not much in some persons eyes but look at JC2. That was a direct port, no hotkeys, cant remember any custom key mapping. Still a great game though dont get me wrong.

But back to my original point. When it is released youll buy it, youll be pissed but ultimatly in the grand scheme of things youll forget and life will still go on. As I said, go outside, enjoy life, go to your girlfriends, hang out with your buds. I can handle work without entertainment so dont worry about leaving me here.

Now go, run along and play.
