Low expectations are fine and perfectly understandable. However, I prefer to have my hopes held high, as I am fully prepared to handle any disappointments and believe that there is sufficient enough evidence that alot of what I anticipate to be featured in the Liara DLC will be implemented and included.

Day 13... no answer.

It's really shame that Mr Priestly announcing latest weapon pack was too scarred to come here and give us couple answers regarding English version of Liara DLC status for Central Europe.

Well they did say that a weapon pack will come out before LotSB.

Personally I'm not impatient to find out when this will come out. Let them take as long as they like.

Im not impatient either...But an actual ETA on it's release would be good to know at least.  They can take all the time they want with it, I dont care, I just want to know when to expect it Posted Image

Kasumi was announced 23 days before the release, Overlord - 34 days.

if you do a bit of calculation looking at the release dates of previous dlc, we get something every 24 days (on average), but we have to take into consideration that someone from bioware said "Things will slow down a little", let's round that number to 30 or once a month.

Knowing that last dlc came 2010-08-03 and tLotSB was announced 2010-07-22 and considered all the above and the fact that stuff is beeing released on tuesdays, we can say that approximate release date is 2010-08-24 at best, or more optimal 2010-08-31.

Thoughts?

Thinking LotSB will be released this month while Firepower has been released already in this month is kinda optimistic IMO.

I think that's a reasonable estimate.

Funny thing for those who are playing Starcraft 2 atm, Liara's VO is voice acting for the female doctor on the Hyperion. I always wondered why her voice is so familar and I get a tingle whenever someone calls her "Doctor".

That game is the ****, I thought her voiced sounded familiar.

That is very much entirely plausible, and quite likely, I believe. I hope it turns out to be the case!

I suspect we'll get more information probably by the 10th, maybe including a release date of the 24th or 31st.

This dlc will come out in september bioware is releasing at least 1 dlc per month so they are probably going to tease us with more pictures or maybe even a trailer and then in september they are going to release it.(i hope im wrong)

Is that based on the Liara audio files though? If so then that may not very well be the case. Sure it may have been the original plan, but remember Mass Effect 2 was released over 6 months ago, 6 months ago there was a huge fan backlash on Bioware's poor handiling of Liara and other Mass Effect 1 characters. Alot of plans for this DLC at that time probably changed and there is a good chance that this will be a post Sucide Mission DLC and Liara might stay on the Normandy permanently... just not as a squadmate.

Theres gotta be a real technical reason that this DLC will not be available in 4 European countries and the possibility that it is a post suicuide mission that adds a new Crewmate on the Normandy is one of many possibilities.

If Liara does return to Illium as she does in the cut audio files, then it is just another lame copout on Bioware's part.

Yet, despite the "evidence" to the contrary......Police STILL maintains that optimism.  Which is good.  I just hope that you dont take it too harshly when/if the evidence proves otherwise.  Dont see many people now days optimistic just for the sole reason of being optimistic Posted Image

I have a feeling that Liara will go back to Illium after the DLC; this may be a post Omega-4 dlc, at least the start of the "bridging" content mentioned by Bioware for to fill in the gap between ME2 & ME3.  I enjoy playing the game over again, as long as I have an incentive like this dlc.  I plan on keeping a file w/ Liara as my LI (no cheating) &  w/ the other  LIs from ME2 (no courting any1 from ME) just to be safe!
