has anyone tried the firepower download? I wish they had made the rifle a little more powerful. The pistol is pretty good, better than the hand cannon you get at omega.

they already got it cheaper then that on amazon in the uk its like £14

bioware can you put in a power that is similar to what the scions do when you get too close to them? that would save me from the husks so much, or maybe a barrier similar to that the collectors deploy so you're in cover and can shoot at the enemies but they cant shoot you.

Alt. appearance pack and Kasumi were released in the same month. Same day if I recall correctly. It'll probably be the 24th or 31st.

The other idea of just adding more rooms is far more likely. Unless they intend for you to only be able to recruit LI's from ME1 as opposed to Liara and Ashley/Kaidan, that would force you to assume that Liara will be recruited for everybody and placed in that room. That would be particularly awkward for characters who romanced Ashley/Kaidain or any of the ME2 characters.

Of course, we are aware that continuity in ME3 is not a problem so your proposal is theoretically possible, however I think for the sake of simplicity they will either add rooms/levels or simply wait until ME3 for you to be able to permanently recruit them.

I just hope BW will do something with this DLC that contains the whole romance angle with Liara.

I would be pretty disappointed if this would simply be one of those "self-contained" missions that somehow have no impact on the ME world whatsoever.

This thread is awesome! Glad to see I'm not the only one eagerly anticipating this. I'm not getting my hopes up this will add Liara as a permanent party member, though, considering the insane amount of voice work that would require (lines for every single mission) and the fact we already have an asari on board.

I'm actually hoping that this will NOT add Liara as a permanent squad-member since that would make some scenes/dialog lines unnecessary (they'd have to be cut out) and it would put her in the same boat with every other ME2 squad-members which I wouldn't like at all.



Also, CHud said that Overlord was the last pre-suicide-mission DLC which would mean that LotSB would take place after the mission, so there wouldn't be any point in adding her to the squad. MAYBE she'd stay as a crewmember, but not much point in that either, imo.

I mean, of course I'd love for her to stay on board ^^ but I doubt it'll happen before ME3.

i guess it wouldnt matter much if the DLC can only be played after the suicide mission.
I really hope she gets onboard.....

I come to think about the possibilities that her getting onboard to be sth which initiates events in the next DLC.
maybe she'll discover things through the brokers intel and join the normandy with us to take on (whatever is in the next DLC), linking ME 2&3.

and there's still a long way b4 ME3, who knows there wont be Kaiden/Ash DLC~~:happy:

Forgive my curiosity but do you even played at ME 1?

Because in matter of fact Liara and Ashley/Kaidan were ONLY possible ME 1 Lis.
Garrus and Tali can't count as ME 1 Lis because they were not consider as such in first game so Liara and Ash/Kaidan adding to Captains cabin for all who stay faithful to them can't be in any way opposite to ME 1 Lis because they ARE ME 1 Lis.

On the other hand purpose of  that mysterious empty spot is right now surrounded by plain speculations because there are not a single word of confirmation from devs side if we are correct in our suspicious.
