I don't think that Liara will be a squadmate in this mission. She will probably just show up in the cutscenes. But I do hope that you can have a more "intimate" dialogue at the end of the mission.
i hope you're wrong with this part but am afraight that you are not
i sure hope we get the "intimate'' talk at the end at least if not it would be a BIG disappointment,
but i suspect they will do something with the Liara romance because of what they did with her on Illium,
i would suspect they don't want to anger us again by screwing with Liara:wub: a second time
at least i hope the wont

I wish we got more details about this DLC. Or at least one small detail to give us something new to talk about.

does any one know how this will work , is it like the Leliana DLC (start a new game and choose what you want to play from a menu), or do we have to get her from Illium or an other location and then the DLC starts like Overlord? i wouls prefer the latter
This game's DLC's are nothing like Dragon Age's. This should work like every other DLC in ME2- You can pick it up right from the main game. Depending on the timeline, that is.

One way they could do it is like Garrus on Omega or that Krogan during Grunt's recruitment, i.e. a friendly NPC that fights alongside you, but you don't control. Which makes sense, Liara is doing this with you (or you with her), but she isn't on your team.

I'd prefer it that way. I don't really want to be able to control her, as it'd be jarring.
Unless Bioware confirmed it first, in which case I'd be ok with it.

...actually I think the devs mentioned somewhere that this is *not* the case. The ME2-ME3 briding DLC is supposed to be released sometime closer to the launch of ME3. LotS is not part of that content.wickedwizzard01 wrote...

For people who dont have Liara as a love interest no problem, just treat as standard character. But for those that do they will have to put some interaction in and hopefully more than shipped in ME2. If they don't people will be very disappointed but in so doing they have another thing to track for me3.
For those that buy this they have to track that we help her do what ever we do in this dlc+ how we interact with her with what ever choices we are given, and carry them over into me3 in the savegames. For those that dont buy the dlc in ME3 they will still have to see if the variable's for this dlc are present in the savegames and alter conversations and interactions not only with Liara but other characters, news events and so on as taking the shadow broker down will be a major event.(if that even happens in this dlc)
I cant see such an event not happening simply because we don't have the dlc in our game, it will likely be something our character would just miss. The coldness of the original ME2 encounter can play into biowares favor in that case. The cold determination of Liara could be played out in ME3 to explain any repercussions of this event as she wanted to finish the shadow broker on her own. The only reason she doesn't join us in ME2 is so she can finish the show broker, if this isnt delt with before 3 how can she be a team member, unless one of Shepherd targets in ME3 just happens to be the shadow broker.

*random* I do worry that the SB is setting a trap for Liara and Shepard.

So, I'm thinking this won't be the first "Bridge" DLC. I dunno, this has been in existence for a long time now, as those sound files are on the disc. So this is probably just another Overlord. I'm thinking this is the last ambiguous DLC, or at least I hope.
