We probably won't get anything new until next week. When Overlord was announced, we had 3 screenshots only for a while. Later on we got more information, and I think the trailer was released on the release date.

Really?  Garrrrrr!  We have such a long wait.

It was announced May 18th, and then released June 15th. So do the math I guess :D

Edit: So if it's the same time frame as Overlord, another 14 days. Although I don't think that adds up to a Tuesday release. So probably the 31st.

Yet, she can't even hold the bubble.

I'm not picking sides on this one, but both Samara and Jack were super biotics. There's no indication that Liara could do the same, just because she's a biotic (plus she's only 108, which is still very young for asari).

But not all Asari biotics knowns how to use singularity and in ME 1 that was Liara's primary skill and mastered she could wipe out room full of Geth single handed using only singuarity.

Beside she did have 50 years time to train her skills on animals, pirates and slavers during her archeological trips, and it's very possible that before she leaves Thessia she did recive basic commando training from Shiala including knowledge how to use biotics.

Yeah, I think Aug. 31 is a decent estimate.

Do you remember when they revealed the Overlord release date by any chance?

Now....imagine if Samara just spent a little time training her a bit more?

....I think I might have just gained some newfound respect for Liara....

I'll see if I can find it.

Edit: June 11. So that was a Friday I believe, and then it was released that Tuesday.

Awww...so we may not know it's coming until mere days before it's released?  I hope not... :crying:

I need to plan and make sure I take off work that day.

You do know, that it's still pretty unlikely that she can hold a bubble that only 2 super-biotics could hold (and barely at that). Shepard himself can use singularity and didn't offer to hold up the bubble. You could say it's a plot device, but it's still moot to say that just because a biotic knows singularity they are instantly super-status. In ME1 all biotics had more power, so Shepard also had the ability to wipe out a full room of geth single handedly with singularity (and better might I add).

Gah, hope it's not the 31st, I'll be away, and I hate carting my Xbox on a 3 hour train ride. Plus I'll have to wait until my nephews are in bed before I get to play - the wait is bad enough already without adding that on top! :crying:

Just wait till you start full time work. I'm currently desperately trying to take my minimum time off this leave year. In that two weeks, I've got a full playthrough of ME2 and a Starcraft 2 to play :P

I´m wondering how this dlc might affect the Liara quests in illium (gather information for liara), i say this because it does not make much sense to leave them untouched, and to properly connect them to the dlc they would need some slight rework. What do you people think about it? Do you think those quests of liara in illium will change or even be removed to put the dlc in their place?

40 hrs a week and going to school doesn't compute, unless you're working in a nightclub.

after you finished the "get the info" missions for Liara On Illium , i guess that you receive an email from Liara:wub:at some point  that she wants to meet with you on Illium where she will tell you that she found the SB and will join you on the Normandy.
or Liara will be somewhere  near the location of where the SB base is and receive a mail from a friend and it will start from there.

I don't think the Illium quests will have any bearing on the DLC, though, if you didn't do them, Liara might need to explain the situation a bit more than if you did.

Sure it does.  A girl I work with goes to school full time (four classes), and works full time (40 hours per week).  She attends class early in the morning (usually one or two classes a day), is at work by 11am, and works to close at 7pm.  With lunches taken out its like 37 hours and change, but its still a hell of a work load.  And I know several people who do the same thing.

So, yeah, apparently there are some super-motivated freaks out there in the world...thank God I'm not one of them.  ;)

Time for a nap!

I believe that if the player flubbed up the Observer sidequest, or avoided it altogether, that Liara will mention at the beginning of the DLC that she deduced by herself that Nyxeris was the double agent working for the Shadow Broker, and disposed of her accordingly.

It will be handwaved away, and will not have any effect on the events of the Liara DLC.

And what makes you so sure of that? If anything it'll be activated after you do her sidequests.

I really hope they release the DLC before school hits. I've actually been worried about this exact thing since the day they originally announced the DLC.

Well, I don't think you can realistically claim that someone goes to school full-time when they finish at 11am :P

Dude... its Liara of course she could hold up the bubble. Liara is a good biotic, she could destroy Miranda any day.

Also, when you see Liara in ME2 the first time, she quotes her mom saying few humans have faced an Asari Commando, wouldn't that mean she's as good as a commando, I bet a commando could hold that bubble.
