Well, I don't think you can realistically claim that someone goes to school full-time when they finish at 11am :P

Ha ha.  class 5 hours a day, I don't even want to estimate the amount of time I spent doing homework... Posted Image

I hope it's earlier than that...
I start college on the 30th I'll be way to busy with that and work to play :(

Just wait till you start full time work. I'm currently desperately trying to take my minimum time off this leave year. In that two weeks, I've got a full playthrough of ME2 and a Starcraft 2 to play :P

i work 40hrs and go to school i can still devote a decent amount of time to this game altough iyt helps that we only work 4 days a week for 10 hrs

40 hrs a week and going to school doesn't compute, unless you're working in a nightclub.

ok i admit it im a male stripper........... no seriously  though when im in school i take late shifts  i work in manufactureing

We are so off topic. Sooo how about that Liara.

Seriously though I am really psyched for this DLC. I really hope to continue that relationship.

But not all Asari biotics knowns how to use singularity and in ME 1 that was Liara's primary skill and mastered she could wipe out room full of Geth single handed using only singuarity.

Beside she did have 50 years time to train her skills on animals, pirates and slavers during her archeological trips, and it's very possible that before she leaves Thessia she did recive basic commando training from Shiala including knowledge how to use biotics.

You do know, that it's still pretty unlikely that she can hold a bubble that only 2 super-biotics could hold (and barely at that). Shepard himself can use singularity and didn't offer to hold up the bubble. You could say it's a plot device, but it's still moot to say that just because a biotic knows singularity they are instantly super-status. In ME1 all biotics had more power, so Shepard also had the ability to wipe out a full room of geth single handedly with singularity (and better might I add).

Dude... its Liara of course she could hold up the bubble. Liara is a good biotic, she could destroy Miranda any day.

Also, when you see Liara in ME2 the first time, she quotes her mom saying few humans have faced an Asari Commando, wouldn't that mean she's as good as a commando, I bet a commando could hold that bubble.

When did I say that she could or couldn't beat Miranda? I said that I wasn't picking sides, but just laying out what is actually known about Liara. what you said is pure speculation. Maybe we'll find out once the DLC hits, but until I see otherwise, I still believe that she is weaker than Samara and Jack lore-wise and remember that they both barely held the biotic bubble to the end.

I believe that if the player flubbed up the Observer sidequest, or avoided it altogether, that Liara will mention at the beginning of the DLC that she deduced by herself that Nyxeris was the double agent working for the Shadow Broker, and disposed of her accordingly.

It will be handwaved away, and will not have any effect on the events of the Liara DLC.

And what makes you so sure of that? If anything it'll be activated after you do her sidequests.

That was outlined in my post.

Miranda has super human regeneration, advavnced biotics, highly trained tech skills, and perfect marksmanship...Also she does it all in high heels

Yet, she can't even hold the bubble.

I'm not picking sides on this one, but both Samara and Jack were super biotics. There's no indication that Liara could do the same, just because she's a biotic (plus she's only 108, which is still very young for asari).

Liara could not hole that bubble samara AN ASARI JUSTICAR can't even hold it unless loyal, ssame with jack who is arguably from what we've seen (blowing up a space station without a gun rofl) the most powerful biotic EVER l

liara had 50 years to train her push on merc fodder and rocks nothing hardcore. and skills ingame don't count show the capabilties of that person (thane can't hand to hand 10 armed guards in combat) we've already seen miranda pwn merc asari commando enyala when she got pissed. Liara wouldn't be much harder considering liara has little weapons training.

Exactly. It's simply improbable to believe that Liara could do the same with what we know of her (including in the comics).

Your saying that you could start the new DLC without having done her two quests? Correct?

Yes. I then explained how the fact that they have not been completed could easily been handwaved away, and Liara could provide a brief explanation of the situation between her and the Shadow Broker prior to the start of the DLC.

Why is it an absolute necessity that the two quests be completed before the DLC is triggered? Neither on them have any kind of profound story influence.

If I may jump in here, if you listen to the hidden dialogue for Liara on youtube regarding this DLC, she talks about these 2 quests as if they haven't been done. So chances are, they are not necessary to start the DLC.

I thought they announced that this DLC will be the first to bridge Mass Effect 2 and 3.

That means it has to take place after the final mission in 2.

If you get out of the final mission with only 1 squadmate and Shepard alive, how do you do this DLC?

Answer: You get Liara on your team. :)

Secret revealed.

Nah, that's most likely not dialogue that will be used for this DLC. It is cut, and in all probability trash. The Liara DLC folders are empty, and these unused audio files are grouped with the rest of the ME2 content, meaning that they are cut and unlikely to be used.

Welp, I guess we'll find out when it comes out. Where was it said that this is the first DLC to take place after the suicide mission?

just listened to the files on youtube and if these are the real files that will be used(i don't believe they are,
i think these are just some cut files)
then my Shepard will be like :
Damn the  Collectors, i'm coming with you Liara, :wub:were going on a vacation first.then puts Garrus or Miranda in charge and tells them :we'll be back in time for ME3:P

Miranda is fighting for her sister's life so  I don't think Enyala can take her.
