Its supposed to be challenging. You can't say Miranda is better than Liara based on in-game parts cause nothing makes sense in-game. If you follow the cutscenes and the characters, then you'll find your answer. And I have never seen Miranda do anything extrodanary in the game with biotics. Liara is a wayyyy better biotic than Miranda

Because if that was the case it would render those two quests useless, and there would be no need for them to be in game. You won't even know she's trying to take down the Shadow Broker without talking to her about her problems, thus triggering the quests.

Then why is there audio of her talking about the quests as if they weren't done yet, but when the Shadow Broker is dead?

Plus, you can ask Liara what she's up to and she tells you that she's after the Shadow Broker before you even ask "What can I do to help?" meaning the 2 quests are still optional most likely not required for the DLC.

forget the audio files they are probably pre production and cut from the game
maybe they wanted it that way first but changed it later on
and she is going after the SB isn't she 
what else was she supposed to say when you ask her what she is doing, making coffee?

Well, the hidden Kasumi audio was used in the DLC, and Bioware has stated that they knew we would find hidden audio files in the game since they are infrastructure for future DLC. Why wouldn't this audio be part of the Shadow Broker DLC?

We have no indication liara is anything more than a run of the mill asari biotic all she ever said is she killed a few fodder mercs during her diggs

You need to complete the quest... cause the quest's are side-missions. What if you didn't need to.. after you kill the SB you'd go talk to her and she be all like "Could you hack terminals to help me find the SB?" and Shep would be like "If it'll help you I'll... wait... wtf!?!?"

Next the only thing liara said she handled are fodder mercs in her diggs as stated before....miranda was chased across the galaxy escaping her fathers army of mercs im sure she's killed her fair share before she found cerebrus.

again i'll state YOU HAVE NOTHING MORE THAN SPECULATION. Oh yes and liaras biotics did not handle every situation when some geth bots came in her digg on therum she hid and got stuck in a small biotic looking bubble

You seem to think biotics are just uber sauce...Almost everyone in the galaxy with a gun seems to have shields too that negate biotic effects for the most part

1st of all... Liara was stuck in Prothean technology... thats why.. it wasn't just a small bitotic field.. I'd love to see Miranda in a Prothean security field haha

2nd: Miranda wasn't chased... she ran away with Niket and went to Cerberus for protection 'cause she couldn't protect herself! Wtf does that tell you.

1st i don't hate liara i just think miranda would win in a fight. And from the looks of the station on fire and heavy mechs slaughtering people everytime we see someone through a window it looks pretty hard to just *run past*
Also liara states that she activated the prothean tech due to the geth (which tere were only about 5 of actually in the mine+ a krogan)

Liara is an asari biotic we have no proof that she is special in any way in terms of combat skills

Where miranda has clearly stated she is superior to pretty much any human
Not to mention miranda is part of a pro human splinter for 14 years and most likley knows her way around an asari...

Miranda is cocky.. just because she said shes superior dont mean she is. I can think of humans that would beat her: Shepard, Jack, Anyone with a gun... but no, your right... she's superior to "most" humans considering that most humans don't know how to hold a weapon

if this DLC is post suicide mission does anyone think that you are able to tell Liara that the Collectors are actually Protheans?

since i'll bet that she would be very interested, after all Liara is a Prothean expert.
