Weren't the Shadow Broker talking with Liara, in the comic, while Feron was right behind her?MikeDraws567 wrote...
I bet the Drell in the comics is the Shadowbroker. Or would that be too predictable?

Indeed he was (cheers for telling me the name, it had completely escaped my mind), but the games have always said that the Shadow Broker could be a collection of people. If it IS a collection of people, it does make sense to make one of them a known character. Someone who has been under the audience's nose all along. From a writer's point of view, it makes sense. If it is someone Liara knows personally, the only people we've be introduced to are Feron, Aria or Matriarch Benezia. Either that or we could go back to Liara's roots and it could be her previous obsession the Protheans.
Hm, I'm analysing this too much (this is what happens when you work from home, you start writing stuff just to avoid the work!
Feron looked great in the comics with his multicoloured skin, I think he might just rival Thane in the game.

I suspected the same a few months ago, would make some sense to have one of the most enigmatic characters in the series be similar Keyzer Söze (or Light/Lelouch in you're somewhat into anime).MikeDraws567 wrote...

I'd be a bit annoyed if it turns out to be someone we know, to be honest. Someone we've met but never really knew would be fine, but the whole "Yes! It was I all along!" moment is a bit of a tired old cliché.MikeDraws567 wrote...

Indeed. It might be Armistan Banes. There was a lot of talk about him in the first game and his frozen dead corpse.
Either that or Conrad Verner. That would make my day! I can just imagine him spinning in a chair stroking a cat (or a puppy Varren)

I've always pictured the Shadow Broker as being a pudgy little Volus.

What is this, S.P.E.C.T.R.E.? (lol....cookie to you good sir for the great joke! THAT made my day!)
Udina? No....it won't be him. As it being Sha'ira (the Asari Consort) I highly doubt that as well. I just don't see it.
The Volus image....I can't help but shake the feeling that somehow Barla Von is the Shadow Broker. I don't think he is, but it wouldn't surprise me.

What if the shadow broker is LIARAS "DAD" bum bum BUM We know shadow broker has been around for awhile so an asari is likley and it would explain why matriach benezia never told liara about her "dad" Also maybe the shadow broker has been manipulating Liaras life secretly to protect which is why he wanted to get rid of shepards body so much due to liara being obsessed with him and perhaps seperating her from benezia when he found out she was under saren's dangerous path now (leading to saren and shadow broker breaking their alliance as mentioned in ME1)
I called it bioware you sneaky devils

Shadow Broker: Liara, I am your father!
Liara:
*Wince" Pretty far-fetched, though not impossible. I'd prefer it were someone Shepard's already bumped into.

Shadow broker also likley killed feron someone liara was close too
Shadow broker wants liara to avoid life of danger she had that's why she is on the run once liara picks up the trail so she'll never find out about her "dad"
and it's also explains why Liara hasn't been killed yet (shadow broker has an army how would she go up against that?)
Nyxseris was simply monitoring her never actually planned to kill her.
Also explains why Liaras dad didn't raise her
My theory is full of win and i dare say the best one out there
