The SB is the asari consort.It is the most logical option.......why?

1)As an asari she lives longer than any other

2)Due to her "work" she has the possibility to obtain all sort of information

3)In ME2.......galactic news said that the consort left the Citadel due to espionage charges or something similar

I hope it's something for shields, they're the bane of the Adept.

I don't see why not. If you start at the second game of the series then of course you're going to miss out on some things, and since the VS has nothing to do with this DLC I don't see why that's even a consideration. Things don't always need to be balanced, anyway.

What if the shadow broker is LIARAS "DAD" bum bum BUM We know shadow broker has been around for awhile so an asari is likley and it would explain why matriach benezia never told liara about her "dad" Also maybe the shadow broker has been manipulating Liaras life secretly to protect which is why he wanted to get rid of shepards body so much due to liara being obsessed with him and perhaps seperating her from benezia when he found out she was under saren's dangerous path now (leading to saren and shadow broker breaking their alliance as mentioned in ME1)

This is my favorite theory and makes sense

if it ends up being shepard met like the consort it would just be very anti climatic (what if you didn't play ME1 then you wouldn't know who she even is)

She always leaves, regardless if you helped her in ME (1) or not. There is a news report in the game that (probably) should be played if you helped her. But because of unknown reasons it doesn't.

I did her quest and she left anyway.

I should be exited but there are two things that concern me: "BioWare" and "DLC". Seprately both can be good, but the combination has proven disappointing so far.

Prove me wrong BioWare, i dare you!

Bioware's DLC is great...only real flub in ME2 was costumes pack

I never felt so confident about a theory of my own before. All of a sudden it just occured to me, and I'm even more excited for the DLC now, just to see if that's the case.

That would still make sense, though. Remember, there is nothing suggesting that the Shadow Broker is in fact a single person. For all we know, it could be one person, two, three, or an entire organization -- just like Barla Von said in ME1.

Also, I agree that's the best name ever.
