Banes was more likley a cerebrus opertive who faked his death to get away from the alliance now investigating saren due to his anti-human agenda and rumored attack on eden prime



If the shadow broker is another human that looks like archer and mordin's assistant i will be fairly dissapointed



And again this would be very anti climatic since alot people never heard of this guy before

I would prefer Liaras dad or Repear AI

Liaras dad could fit a Chekhov's gun too, We know very little about "him", and Liaras dad is more pesented upon us where as Banes was just alittle bit of extra dialagoue that i didn't even know about till my 3rd do absolutley everything possible playthrough in ME1
It's possible though but i think liaras dad also explains why the shadow broker hasn't just hired an elite Merc group or assasin to take out liara, I don't see why the most influential criminal in the galaxy would be  "on the run" from one very young asari

There are a lot of possibilities, if you think about it. I, for one, see Banes as the most likely one. We'll see sooner or later.

I'm thinking that it's Expat. He was awfully well-informed about Feros and Noveria. Iirc, he brings them up in conversation before you get the mission entries or hear about those planets at all.

ok thinkin outside the box here...SB could be Garrus Vakarian, or Garrus works for SB cuz..hes in both games,would be crazy *** twist,iRecall that around the beginning of ME2 when u ask TIM about wheres Garrus he says something like 'after u were declared dead he left without a trace' (SOMETHING LIKE THAT) yea to do that u needa be pretty sneaky or be the SB/work for him,nd hes always willing to go anywere with Shepard so my guess is

Ok stay with me here both the shadow broker and okeer had much connectionz with the reapers, But okeer is dead you say? NO he was faking it and grunt is simply is inactive spy drone for shepard. It also explains where shadow broker getz his krogan from tanks

I think the SB is either an asari (long lifetime, good at diplomatics, politics) or salarian (very quick thinking, even on many things same time) if it's organic.
More likely, it's an organization, or an advanced AI, because that's believable.
I don't think it's Liara's "father" cuz the "I am your father" line would to much lika a Star Wars rehash or something like that. The Asari Consort is a much more likely choice.
And about Armistan Banes: I have thought on it for some time, and I think he's TIM, because... why not? No evidence to the contrary.

But for now I would like to hear some good news about it's release, considering the five European country. Cuz I'm hungarian and I want to know who the SB is first hand, not through some youtube channel. And I don't want to resort to piracy with this game, but I will if they make me... Maybe on Tuesday they will say something

They don't need to make liaras "dad" say im your father star wars style lol and since her "dad" is an asari can even hardly be considered a "father" 
the Consort is no criminal mastermind and liked shepard if you helped her so it wouldn't make sense to try to steal his body and again people who started with ME2 would have no clue of who the consort even is

I do like the Idea of banes perhaps being the illusive man though...It's hinted he's cerebrus Awesome possibility and that name is worth of the basterd
