I don't see why people are taking the sound clips as absolute truth. Its very easy Bioware won't use any of that in the DLC.

I was reluctant to believe they'd cast aside the audio, but given all of these cut audio files that guy over in the spoiler forum is uncovering, I wouldn't be surprised. So theres a 50/50 chance that it won't be in the DLC.

Oh they will be used. The reason there are a lot of unused lines like lines for Legion, Thane, Samara, Tali on Horizon and such is because the details of who'd be recruitable early and who'd be recruitable late in the game as well as the order of most the key missions were subject to change up untill the game went into production and they didn't want to get the game stuck because a companion didn't have a line for an important part where he/she was supposed to say somthing. Beyond that ALL Kasumi and Zaeed sound files were used as will the ones for the SHadow Broker DLC.

In any case they should be left out of the thread in case they are.  People don't want to be spoiled.  Think I'll just avoid the thread now.

What evidence points to this being pre-suicide mission?

After you've done all the work there is with Liara, you get a message telling you to check back with her later, incase she has anything else you can help her with.
I'd say that's a pretty big hint to it being unlocked after a certain point, but pre-SM.

There's a similar thing with the C-Sec Officer voiced by Michael Hogan (can't remember the character name for the life of me).
You get a message about future recruiting options. Unless of course, that's tied with Kolyat... Haven't come across dialoge options to indicate that though.

Ah yes, the message tells you to check back with her later, however the mission is complete. So maybe you have to hack them, do the SM, and then itll unlock. Would make sense it being post SM, give it a bit of time for her to find out who the SB is

Those aren't the audio files I'm referring to. There were audio files for squad conflicts other than Legion-Tali and Miranda-Jack. So far we've heard one with Mordin-Grunt. Along with that is a bunch of Citadel cut audio files. So seeing that, I feel like I'll be making a change of position on the argument of whether or not the audio files were cut.

Do you get this message after you help her with the Observer? I never noticed getting a message after that. Or maybe I just skipped through it every time.

The only way to go about it that would make any sense is by making it a chain mission that activates after you complete Liara's personal missions on illium.....whenever the player happens to finish those either before or after the suicide mission. But they did say they were going to shift the focus to filling the gap between ME2 and ME3 so that implies post end-game DLC so they can make it to where both ending the game and finishing Liara's personal missions are required to activate it but I doubt that the suicide mission is a requirement.

Probably last minute cuts.....I haven't heard it but I immagine the Mordin-Grunt conflict has got to be goofy. Perhaps they felt it wasn't important or they didn't get it working right. As for the citadel audio I immagine it's just extra banter unrelated to player actions so my guess is they reduced it so that the player would hear more about what he/she did rather than too much unrelated stuff.

EDIT: The citadel cut news are player related it seems....a cuple appear to be bugs thought the consort one may be left out on puprose if they changed their minds about adding a 5th species to the council, some are insignifficant choices like Saraceno and Darius.....not to mention only renegades dealt with Darius and the one about the Shadow Broker's empire collapsing appears to be what we'll hear in the news after we complete the upcoming DLC where we'll deal with the Broker.

Yeah I think everyone wants to know at least when it'll be released....nearly 3 weeks passed since the announcement but they did pull this surprise/unannounced releases with Darkspawn Chronicles for DAO and Overlord DLCs so we may just see it tomorrow or next tuesday. At any rate some officilal confirmation it still exists would be nice.

Yes, and the Grunt-Mordin conflict wasn't goofy at all. In fact, they should have left it in the game. ;) Check out that one.

Having more of those crew conflicts would have made the game seem more alive. It would be even better if they weren't directly attached to the morality system and to loyalty.

Answer is NO, no dubbed versions will be available in Czech because Bioware and EA decided that Czech, Slovakia, Poland and Hungary ceases to exist on world maps.

And still there is not a slightest indication if original version of this DLC will be available for those four countries.

I think its safe to say Bioware has taken a hands off approach on this which is unfortunate. 360 users are probably out of luck but at least PC users maybe able to get the English version through legal means or otherwise.

Hopefully. I even bought english version of ME2 from UK just to have it in original language (Czech version is not dubbed, it just has Czech subtitles but you still cannot install it in English) so I see no way why I should be denied the option of getting the DLC.
Anyway, localisation usually only rapes my language.

If you have a Uk copy then you can buy the UK DLC. It's only an issue with the local copy.

I truly cannot wait for this. I hope we hear some info soon on this. Here's hoping that this is ME2 equivalent of DA:O Awakening.

Dont get your hopes up. The title says DLC. Awakening was announced as an expansion. This isn't one. Casey Hudson/Adrain Cho said that the expansion would be released closer to the release date of Mass Effect 3.

It's not really about length to me it's about quality. But the fact they're quiet isn't a good sign but maybe they're waiting for the DAO DLC to release tomorrow before they shift the focus to the Shadow Broker DLC or they'll just quietly wait until it's out and just say "it's out, buy it".

Christina Norman said on twitter a couple days ago that she can't wait for it to be released....this makes me think it'll be out sooner rather than later.

I wonder if Liara will join the crew after the business with the shadow broker is dealt with? She made it pretty clear that her pursuit of the Shadow Broker was the only thing keeping her from rejoining Shepherd. Once the Shadow Broker is dealt with it would only make sense she'd join the crew. The Normandy sure is crowded as it is though LOL

Unless they have something extra for playing it post-suicide mission, that's not likely to happen.
