Damn... I didn't think about that. Darn.. I made a whole new playthrough for this DLC I already did Liara's hacking quest and its just on hold 'till the DLC comes out for a chance that Liara joins your squad after. But if its triggered after the suicide mission... damn.. but! if the hidden audio files are indeed in the DLC, Cerberus gave you intel on the SB. and TIM wouldn't if you told him off at the end so it must be pre-SM although I'm sure you can still do it post-SM

If it is triggered pre SM then Liara wont stay and I want here to stay and hopefully this dlc leads into the expansion

and bioware could use those files could be used to throw off the fans

Its true that Liara probably wont join your squad because she plays an important role in ME3 and BioWare needs her alive.

But then again.. it is possible. Liara may join the Normandy but perhaps not as a real squadmate. She might come along to be with Shepard.. if your romanced her maybe? Then she could be taken away by the collectors with the rest of the crew and that way it'll still be the same Liara romance where Shep looks at the photo. And they can just make her unkillable like Dr Chakwas. Now you may also be thinking, you can kill Chakwas if you dont send an escort. Well, if Liara is with her.. I think they can handle it. Hey.. it could work.

I'm a Liara fan... I get fantasies like this

maybe she kicks some collecctor ass and doesnt get taken ( I am also a fan lol )

Ohhh I like your thinking.. then we get a real Liara romance and when the Normandy crash lands she stays to help Joker and EDI repair the ship. That way she doesn't die.

That would make sence. I also just thought... the collectors wouldn't take Liara.. they only need humans.. so my idea didn't really work.

I would not like it if Liara was only there for my lovehandling after i am done with a mission i would love to have her bad ass biotics with me on a mission but i dont think that Bioware would let that happen, as you can see in the screenshot you have your two squadmates and Liara beside you so i dont even think that we will be able to control her and i dont even think that she will be with us when we are fighting, sneaking through some passage or something. So all in all i can predict that Liara will only be a cutcene act. sad but true

I save you from the Geth, I'm the only person you've trusted enough to join together, you said you've never been more sure of anything in your life, we saved to galaxy together, I helped you get the guy who hurt you bad and you still wont join me!?!?

true true but look at it this way Liara has changed a hell lot since her old prothean fanatic days so due to her personality i dont think that she would join up i mean shepard left her for two years! she has most probably already moved on and when she knows that shep is on a mission that will maybe get him killed i dont think that she would want to lose him again. i would not want to lose someone twice. sad but true

Bad news. I don't think this dlc is coming out today. The new achievements for the DLC's being released today already updated. Being Dragon Age and RDR, I received nothing about ME2. It's possible it might show up still, but so far it doesn't seem like it. If I receive an update about ME2, I'll post it here ASAP.

maybe so but i stand by the fact that she would not want to lose him again or maybe she does! remeber this is just one of my pot head theories:O yours is also very convincing. And Liara seems more flexible than Ashley or Kaiden. but when the DlC comes out i would love to see your theory come true belive me i hate mine i also realy like Liara despite her vast personality change. happy and true!

Also if I knew someone i loved was going on a dangerous misson I would go with them to keep them alive

I guess only time will tell. but yes, liara has changed. anyways. gonna go to bed... hope to have news when i wake up
