I made a whole new playthrough for this DLC I already did Liara's hacking quest and its just on hold 'till the DLC comes out for a chance that Liara joins your squad after. But if its triggered after the suicide mission... damn.. but! if the hidden audio files are indeed in the DLC, Cerberus gave you intel on the SB. and TIM wouldn't if you told him off at the end so it must be pre-SM although I'm sure you can still do it post-SM
The best you'll get is Liara joining the Normandy as an NPC. She's not going to be a usable character like the others.
Thats all I need. As long as I can talk to her.. have some conversation and maybe a romance.. that there is too good to be true for me
I would not like it if Liara was only there for my lovehandling after i am done with a mission i would love to have her bad ass biotics with me on a mission but i dont think that Bioware would let that happen, as you can see in the screenshot you have your two squadmates and Liara beside you so i dont even think that we will be able to control her and i dont even think that she will be with us when we are fighting, sneaking through some passage or something. So all in all i can predict that Liara will only be a cutcene act. sad but true
You might not want her on the Normandy as more of a NPC but its better than her finding some other reason to stay on Illium. I'd be like wow what the hell? I save you from the Geth, I'm the only person you've trusted enough to join together, you said you've never been more sure of anything in your life, we saved to galaxy together, I helped you get the guy who hurt you bad and you still wont join me!?!?
true true but look at it this way Liara has changed a hell lot since her old prothean fanatic days so due to her personality i dont think that she would join up i mean shepard left her for two years! she has most probably already moved on and when she knows that shep is on a mission that will maybe get him killed i dont think that she would want to lose him again.
I dought she went through all the trouble to get his body back, to bring him back alive just so she can move on.
I guess only time will tell. but yes, liara has changed. anyways. gonna go to bed... hope to have news when i wake up
