So if this is post-SM, and you are one of the people to have only one squadmate survive . . . just wondering how or if you can go on other missions, such as this one . . . . .
Was it confirmed this is post SM or it's just a supposition/speculation ?
That is speculation. However, while the future of dlc was being talked about in an article with Dr. Greg, he said dlc was going to shift towards the post-ME2 storyline, and start linking the storyline to ME3.
We'll see how this Liara - SB stuff accomplishes that.
Yes.. I have heard those rumors about ME2 and ME3 bridged with DLC but I have never give them too much credits... Obvioulsy it would be cool if this was true and this DLC was the first one of that kind... Can you image a better thing than recruiting Liara as the first step toward ME3?
But since I don't wanna hope too much my bet is that at the end we'll not be finished with shadowbroker yet, sheìll say "good bye.. see you in ME3" and we'll go on with our SM..

This is what ME2 should have been.
Yep.

If you screw this up BioWare may God have mercy on your soul.
Aye, because I certainly wont.
WilliamShatner wrote...
For dealing with a significant character like The Shadow Broker this DLC should be several hours long. Not the standard 60-90 minute BioWare DLC.
Again... Yep.
WilliamShatner wrote...
And if Cerberus are the ones sending you to go after him/her/it you should be able to side with the Shadow Broker.
God! I hope it has nothing to do with Cerberus whats-o-ever. I told TIM to go and flip himself and i'm geting sick of all the DLC not taking this possible outcome into account and acting like were still on speaking terms.
WilliamShatner wrote...
And it damn well better feature Shepard and Liara's relationship in a significant way. And Liara's character darn well better revert to the Liara we all know and love or at least be on the road to recovery for ME3.
This is the main selling point for me. If this isn't handled well at all and Liara is still the stranger that was in the main game, then i'll probably cry.

???
Correct me if I am wrong but isn't the Shadowbroker aligned with the Collectors/Reapers?
I mean, wouldn't that be like expecting to be able to side with Saren and the Geth over the council?
If Cerberus is indeed the one's who start all of this off via e-mail or whatever, then that would indicate this dlc is pre-Suicide Mission ala Overlord. By this point in the game, Liara certainly seems to think that the Illusive Man is still working with them, or at least has favorable relations.
If its POST then that becomes a nonfactor since depending on your Shepard you're no longer aligned with Cerberus.

Oh boy, I carried over 4 Shepard playthroughs from ME1, 3 of them romanced Liara and two of them "cheated" on her so I hope she doesn't slap my **** with a singularity.
Singularities are awesome, it is an honor and a privilidge to be hit full blast with one

I warn people to not be too optimistic for this dlc and Liara's development. It might occur, but if you expect it to, I warn that you will be disappointed.

Probably 25 or so, 10 for beating the dlc and 15 extra for hidden things in the dlc.Onyx Jaguar wrote...

Next DLC is going to be about the Illusive Man.
Is that just a rumor you're starting, or is there some evidence to lend credence to it? Just wondering, as I'm looking forward to ANY new ME2 DLC. Call me a fanboy, but I love the ME story and characters too much not to shell out an occasional $5-7 to see their stories continue.
And this announcement? A dream come true. With Liara back and most likely some info shed on the Shadow Broker, how can any ME fan NOT be excited for this?

this cerberus network is crap. nothing is free.
Welcome to life.
But seriously, quite a bit of stuff was free through Cerberus. Lets see:
Zaeed - FREE
Normandy Crash Site - FREE
Cerberus Weapon and Armor - FREE
Cerberus Arc Projector - FREE
Firewalker Pack - FREE
In fact, just as much FREE DLC has been released as DLC that has to be paid for:
Kasumi - 560 Points
Overlord - 560 Points
Alternate Appearance Pack #1 - 160 Points
Equalizer Pack - 160 Points
Aegis Pack - 160 Points
So, yeah, know what you're talking about before typing. Helps prevent you making ludicrous, non-sensical statements like the one you made there. Have a nice day!

To go with that, have you really checked on how much money you have spent on this game alone. For me it has been 120 bucks. I feel great however and I believe that Bioware deserves it.jasonirma wrote...
My God...this has been the most amazing year...2010 will be remembered for the Year of Bioware. Here's my money. You can have it. Apparently, I'm not really spending it on anything else these days.

We know, please read some of the earlier posts. Also, Cristina said that these weapons will not be available in the Liara DLC on facebook.MojojojoeJDH wrote...
From the three screenshots it seems there are at least 3 new weapons.
1. The M-5 Pistol(fi8nally a new pistol)
2. An Assault Rifle
3. If you look at the shotgun on his back it looks wider than all the current ones, and appears to have two barrels.
They need to stop making screenshots containing content that isn't included in the content tht's being advertised.

Can you please confirm if whether we were romanced with Liara in ME1 will have an impact on the dlc. Also, if the Hades Dogs' mission has an impact.Michael Gamble wrote...

My impression is that the SB is a neutral entity who sides with no one and works with everyone.
SB isn't Space Hitler & the ****s that's for sure.
No, I don't think he's out and out evil but he seems to have thrown his lot in with the Collectors as of Redemption and if he was indeed behind the Wilson betrayal as the evidence indicates he's still not an ally of Shep's. Granted I imagine his alliances would be fluid when presented with death but with Liara being pretty adament about killing him I don't see any way out of this for poor ol' Shadowbroker short of killing Liara over him and I can't see BW doing that.
