Guys, you forgot. We need some infiltrator to sneak into Bioware's base of operations and open the doors, so that we can all charge in. Practically a suicide mission. I volunteer.
So dramatic. Just deviate from the tour. :innocent:

We're going to need a tech expert for the ride to the Bioware vault. If the van runs out of gas, we'll need someone to hack the machines. I'm not paying $86 for a tank of gas, are you kidding me?

If you were hoping for squaddie dialogue, you'd bring Garrus, Tali, and/or Miranda.
They're the only three that are actually connected to Liara and/or what she went through with the Shadow Broker.

Some thugs paid the Broker to find out Thane's identity, then went after his wife because they were too afraid to face him themselves.PoliteAssasin wrote...

Batarian pirates. And I doubt it'll have anything to do with the DLC, as far as Thane's dialogue goes.

The Shadow Broker was involved in Irikah's murder. (Irikah is Thane's wife)PoliteAssasin wrote...

I realize squaddie dialogue is probably too much to ask from this DLC, but the other squaddies will be for subsequent playthroughs...

Yup, that will probably be my squad composition the first time I play the DLC. I may take Garrus/Tali instead of Miranda, though.theelementslayer wrote...
Thane and Miranda, they work well with an infiltrator. Thanes warp+sniper rifle, and then let miranda be a human shield. She goes down easy though....and that just sounded bad

If we do get squaddie dialogue, the most relative to the situation and person would come from Garrus, Tali, and Miranda.
I just think Thane talking about Irikah's murder is a bit of a stretch. It really has nothing to do with Liara or her dealings with TSB.

well it all depends how close to the detroit border they are if bioware is close enough we set up a base of operations in DTE gas should not be that big of an issue......if we do need it however we find C.hudsons car and syphon it from there which would require a diversion team to distract him from that how will voulnteer for the diversion team

It would still make sense, though. I personally love Thane and really hope he has something to say when we meet the Shadow Broker. If you talk to him long enough, you'll understand how much Irikah meant to him and what he did after her murder. So really it's only natural that he makes a comment or two regarding the situation in this DLC -- assuming there WILL be squadmate dialog, of course.LPPrince wrote...

Edmontons (Bioware HQ) is about a 72 hour drive away from detroit. Canada is a big country

But what situation? TSB is completely neutral. Its not like Thane can get mad at him. Thane could easily have gone to TSB to find out who the culprits were.

Regardless, there is still room for Thane-specific comments. Miranda, Garrus, and Tali can say something, too.LPPrince wrote...

That's because you misunderstand what a patch does. It fixes bugs, it doesn't script the animation sequence for collapse-able or removable helmets.
If you want to argue semantics then sure, but in a wider context traditional 'patches' can do far more than fix bugs, but also add and remove features, tweak features, and add new content entirely. Extra content can be, and often is, included in a patching executable, installing additional files with running traditional bug fixes.
So yeah, my points still stand.

Alright, well incase some of our buddies get wounded they will need an escort to take them back to that Van SR2 for treatment. I do not volunteer, because that job is boring.
