Yeah, I think it assumes you've been shot even if Garrus didn't shoot you. I managed to get him to shoot me on my 3rd and 4th playthrough's. All you need to do is stand in front of the building he's in for a few seconds -- just before you meet with Cathka.

The "unknown sniper" could be Zaed or Legion as well. Zaed was the first one that came to mind when I read the Wiki. But then thought it could also be Legion.

Please Bioware - PLEASE let Liara acknowledge Garrus, Tali, and Miranda's presence. The characters do not need to respond with a unique line (an old soundfile perhaps?) even a simple nod would work wonders.

No offence, but I think people are reading too much into the "unknown sniper" thing.
Having just skimmed through the comics it's pretty obvious that it's a Cerberus sniper. Cerberus want :wub:Liara:wub: to help them find Shepard, so they take out the mercs trying to stop her.
A few pages later Feron says to her, while talking about Cerberus:

"...Would they weep if Shepard were a dead Hanar, or a Krogan, like the one they used for target practice back there?"

So I think it's pretty clear that it's Cerberus.

For me it's impossible, Liara must have a big role in ME3, this is why se can't be recruited as a team member (and die) for she SM in ME2. Same for Ashley/Kaidan.

but if u can choose in this dlc to kill the shadow broker and let liara die
or let the shadow broker escape and rescure liara then ill rescue liara ofcourse
she was also my male shepards romance, i let ashley die on virmire becuse kaiden have cool biotic powers
and he is way friendlier to aliens
the waiting for the liara dlc is killing me:devil:

Anyone reckon this dlc will be longer than overlord?. I also believe that this may mean there will be some ashley/Kaiden dlc maybe even wrex dlc who knows. Ps have bioware stopped making free dlc?

Considering that they're already working on ME3, there is a high chance that there could be some interaction between the ME1 veterans - such a wasted opportunity if not.

I don't know why but I'm almost certain this will be longer than Overlord, but that's just a guess.

I can't really think what a VS dlc would actually be. They're investigating the abductions when you meet them, which you've solved by the end of the game, and comming up with a new problem that they need Shepard's help with could seem a little contrived. I guess Wrex's could be about uniting the Krogan? But he seems to have a pretty good system when you meet him, the clans that oppose him would actually have to unite to stop him.

Don't get me wrong though, I'd like to see more of both/all the characters.

So i don't know if they will make some free DLC again but there was no info from Bioware saying they will or they wont in the future.

They won't make DLC in ME2 about ashley / kaidan et wrex because if you have to make a new playthrough from ME1, importe the game, or have no choice about ashley / kaidan if they didn't play ME1 is a waste of devloppement.

Making DLC mean adding new contant usable for everybody, not for THIS or THAT playthrough.

No it isn't... all the PDLC is purchasable without the Cerberus Network. Hence why they show up on the XBL Marketplace in addition to the "Extras" menu, which is unlocked regardless of whether you have Cerberus Network. And the fact that they're all listed on http://social.bioware.com/page/me2-dlc with none of them saying "requires Cerberus Network" or anything of the sort.
