Why?
We can whine as much as we want - that is all we could at least.

They should know, that most of the pepole are not pleased of their actions (or lack of actions).
Getting a piece of info is a mission immpossible here.

The Collectors are known for entering Known Space and asking for miscelanious items or people. This means they would need someone like the shadow broker to acquire the more 'hard-to-find' items. Harbinger probably foudn him through extension.

He is the best shoot - the main brooker of information... why look for the others? I wonder other thing - if SB is so smart, why he even bother to deal  with Harbinger. If he got so many info, he (or she or it) should suspect, there will be nothing good out of it:). Or maybe he is not smart enough?


It is good to have another topic, but I'm still mad:))) We need SB to buy the info when we can defeat him:)))

Sorry but we dont know that, nowhere has that been said by bioware. The sum on what we know about this dlc is in the first post and the linked 3 screenshots.

Yes there are supposed to be dlc coming that link me2 to 3 ( as there was supposed to be from 1 to 2) But no where has it been said , so far, that this is one. No doubt some of the decision from this will carry over to 3 but other than the title and three screenies we know nothing.

Lmao, he better had made a deal with him or in ME3 hes going to find out who Harbinger really is. If he doesnt die in the dlc that is. I would also like to find out the means on how Shepard's body was found.

I think the SB might be a AI network. This could explain why he would work with Harby and in retrospect, the Reapers.

Well, they said more info would come in August....then hinted that will will have the dlc shortly after the release date is announced. I thought the info would be a release date (which would hint at an August release) unless they were referring to something else? BW usually doesn't give too much info out for each DLC release.

sorry if this is a stupid question but what is a lystheni salarian? if the answer is a spoiler in anyway dont tell lol havnt beaten the game yet 

Nothing spoler-related really, just they were revealed only in the book Mass Effect: Ascension and described to be an offshoot race of the salarians that are unwelcome in Council space, and inhabit Omega.

It was a drag that they were never in ME2.  Though the hope is still alive for Tazzik, as he looks like no salarian we've ever seen, so people have been thinking he's a Lystheni.

In the PAX thread, Chris mentioned that the Shadow Broker DLC (when released) wouldn't be helping the gang reach PAX. I may be over analyzing this but he didn't mention that the DLC wouldn't be out before PAX - simply that the DLC wouldn't be helping them.



Is it possible that the DLC will be launched before PAX, and thus limit it within 19 days from now?

Is "Lair of the Shadowbroker" taking place during the main quest or after? I know you can continue to play after you have finnished the main quest but is it like in "Dragon Age: Origins" that everything played after the main quest is supose to take place during the main quest?

No one knows, but here is an interview that "implies" LotSB will be during the mission. 

About the 1:50 Hudson remarks that they will continue to assume people are still playing the game even after Overlord.  Make of that what you will. 

Edit: Personally, I believe LotSB will be the final pre suicide mission dlc and will wrap up the ME2 story.
