No I just hate off topic rubbish like your post in this thread.  Still I guess we are not allowed to express our dissatisfaction with the way Bioware are handling things without getting sacarstic comments like that from users that think Bioware can do no wrong.

As for some information coming forward about the DLC at Gamescon, I have my doubts about that.  But I guess we will see what we shall see.

Hey, dont mean to be an ass but werent you the one rasing hell when the firepower pack was released 6 hours late for pc. or 5 or something? Seriously theyll give us info when they give us info. If we ask politely it might get us a better answer then if we bi**h them out. Just sayin

This wait has been ridiculous. There better be some new information next week or I'm not likely to buy it. I've lost almost all of my hype for this dlc. I started a playthrough where I was loyal to liara solely for this dlc, and the dlc was the not thing that resparked my interest in this game. Almost a whole month and no new information. So unless there's new information this upcoming week, I'll be gone for a while. :( no point in waking when nothing is coming up. The only reason I think it'll be released this month is because they announced it in July, and to release it in September would be an annoying move.

It will come in august just like they said so stop your whining.

I have a voice of my own you know Onxy Jaguar, I was ignoring theelementslayers post because I didn't want this topic taken any more off topic than it already has, but I guess you couldn't resist could you ?

The fact I had a grievence against the delay of the Firepower DLC on the PC is pretty irrelevant now so god knows why theelementshalyer chose to drag it up.  However it is just another example of Bioware behaving in an unsatisfactory manner these days.  If you are keeping track I have complained about several other things too would you like to make a note of them ?

I am not the only one complaining about this complete lack of any information from Bioware regarding this DLC so god knows why you have chosen to concentrate on me.

Even if we ignore the fact we haven't heard a single thing gameplay wise about the DLC it is still pretty shoddy that Bioware hasn't bothered to follow up on feedback from European customers with regard to whether they will be able to play this DLC or not.  I guess we shouldn't criticise them for that either should we.

NOw the Shadow broker dlc is something to complain about, as it is taking a ridiculous amount of time to get ANY info at all on the subject. But complaining about a few weapons coming 6 hours late? That's very childlike, its only 6 hours.

If you had bothered to check in the posts that I made with regard to the Firepower pack you will have seen I clearly stated that the delay was not all that important for the weapons DLC, but for DLC as important as the Shadow Broker DLC a 6 hour delay for PC users is important.

The delayed DLC on the PC is not a new thing, nearly every DLC that has been released has been delayed on the PC by a considerable number of hours.  I chose to make a "big thing" about the weapons DLC because I had hoped that Bioware would take note and correct things for the Shadow Broker DLC.

But then I guess it is just easier to call me "childlike" than actually research the point I was trying to make eh ?

Luckily, there are those of us who don't have a sense of entitlement and are very patient.

Don't understand why ppl get bent out of shape about Xbox getting DLC first. Bioware SIGNED a contract to give it to them first. It was a way to make money or would you rather pay 1600+ Bw points for each dlc you get? I think it was kindof smart to do it to keep our cost down for all(PC and consoles). I'm a PC player
just my 2cents.

Then why was Overlord advertised as getting a simultanious release (which it did not, btw).  I think it was delayed only by and hour or so, but still delayed.

Well, BW does have the habit of stretching the meaning of a word just beyond the breaking point.

Edit: And it's all due to that damned third person narrative.  You know it!  ;)

then make your own DLC...

and i agree with reflex the suspense and anticipation are over for me and now im just bored

i'll still buy the DLC when it comes out though

I will still buy it too but at this point I'm just getting tierd of no news and being left in the dark its like... why bother posting comments like "Please BioWare, please give us news" We've done it too many times with no luck and its just upsetting at this point.. you know what I mean?

i feel you man, i thought at first they were just playing with us by keeping us in the dark and in a few days we would get some info, but wow this wait is torture now

The only entitlement I see is from BW  who think they can leave their customers in the dark for a month + if not over a year when it came to ME1.  It's not the first time.  As I stated earlier.  I waited over a year for info on the next DLC for ME1 and finally gave up and boycotted BW for their silence.  My Xbox live handle is also Yakko77 and if there were a way for all to see,  I never downloaded the Pinnacle Station DLC.  Granted, it is no where near over a year for info on the LotSB DLC but given it's been roughly a month with no new info, I share the frustaration of many here.  You can only tease so much before you begin to pi$$  people off.  We are paying customers.  We ae not entitled to pay for this DLC.  I can boycott this DLC as well if pushed too hard but I hope it won't be a year+ wait like Pinnacle Station was........

I want to continue to enjoy this fantastic game.  I don't like being frustrated with BW but......

Does 6 hours really mean that much to you?  That's pretty extreme.

The Dragon Age 2 forums seem pretty nice. There's a few people here or there but it's easy enough to single out the "bad" threads.

YEEESSS!! That's the one I have been waiting for! Make it long and GOOD!!

Ahhhh!! I'll buy it at a high Price!!

Also please some Liara romance interaction. Doesn't have to be all that much. Rather some good lengthy but personal dialogs. I mean I didn't cheat on her the whole second game and all I got was a lousy kiss and a "go fetch me this" quest from her.

"Stranger, Straingehrr... Now THAT is a weapon!"

I cant wait for this!

I think we need another armor pack just for the heck of it...

Cant help but love customization. How about a big daddy and a dragon age one for the lols!

however, it could be classified as sub-expansion as it supposedly takes place after the suicide mission

Sorry but we dont know that, nowhere has that been said by bioware. The sum on what we know about this dlc is in the first post and the linked 3 screenshots.

Yes there are supposed to be dlc coming that link me2 to 3 ( as there was supposed to be from 1 to 2) But no where has it been said , so far, that this is one. No doubt some of the decision from this will carry over to 3 but other than the title and three screenies we know nothing.

there is an interview somewhere with CHudson where he stated that Overlord was the last pre-suicide mission DLC which leads me as well as many others to believe that LotSB is supposedly after suicide mission.  (don't ask me to look for it, i'm not looking through scores of google articles for one quote)

Even as a console owner I agree that there should be a simultaneous release. The difference is created by the fact that XBL employees work early morning and usually upload it before 3 am PST most of the time with a few rare exceptions where they are somewhat late and in those days you usually get it no later than 5 am PST. Now the difference is created by the fact that bioware employees only get to work at about 8 am PST and by the time they upload it and make it available for the PC gamers it can get past 9 am PST.......in all the past DLCs except Kasumi which had network problems delaying it allmost a day for XBL the PC gamers always got the DLCs about 6 hours late.......same story for all DAO DLCs as well.

So the fault here falls with BioWare.....they cannot control the XBL release once certified and accepted for release by Microsoft beyond maybe specyfying a desired release date(not even sure about this one really) but not at what hour on that date the DLC is to be released.....what they CAN control is their own schedule and they could have one guy work nightshift on release dates just to upload and release the DLCs for PC at a near simultaneous time with XBL.

I honestly don't know any speciffic time there but I suspect it's usually between one and two weeks......just speculating here, I could be wrong. As far as I know they never officially annouced a time period.....the one to two weeks is just a feeling I got between announcements and release plus certiffication can and is sometimes failed and in those cases the developers have to go fix it and submit it for certiffication again.
