Well, it couldn't be done because Mass Effect was published by Microsoft, and ME2 was an exclusive. However, that doesn't mean ME3, or a spin off ME game couldn't be released on the PS3.

I could maybe see a spinoff. Maybe. But as far as ME3... well, wouldn't they theoretically have to release ME1 and ME2 for the PS3 first?

but meh I couldn't care less whether ME was multiconsole, just means more ME love and thus hopefully better products from BW thanks to more money coming in.

It's not about what THEY want, it's about what they are requested.

If you want an exemple, Shen Mue 2 was release only on Xbox in USA, while japan and europe had it on dream cast like planed.
Shen Mue 1 was never released later on Xbox, and you could import your save from Shen mue 1 to Shen mue 2 (exept for Xbox of cause),

But Microsoft needed strong argument to sell their new console, and Shen Mue 1 was a huge success, so, this business is a war, like any other business.

In the end for Shen Mue 2, USA imported a lot of european version to hallow the gamers to play it on dream cast without buying a new console.

Mass Effect could be release as a single game on PS3 (ME 1,2,3) on a Single Bluray disk !

First off, release date, please?



Secondly, my two cents on the whole Mass Effect: Genesis thing. I don't think it's true. I think that if ME was going to show up on the PS3 it would have happened already. I suppose there still is a slim possibility of it happening, but probably not until after ME3. Besides, for every internet rumor that's true, there's ten that end up being just that: rumors.



Personally, I'd prefer if ME didn't go to PS3, but it really makes no difference either way so long as I can still play it on my 360. But if ME does show up on the PS3 and it has exclusive extra content or has the DLC that I had to pay for for free, I'm gonna be angry. Really angry.
