Perfectly understandable for two powerful, professional people to have different jobs to do, especially since so much more needs to be set up against the Reapers. No reason Shep can't leave her favorite blue archeologist blushing with a stupid grin.

However, I did spot ME2 listed on a related games list on a Gamescom news item??...http://www.ea.com/uk...t-gamescom-2010. I have a feeling that it may be more likely that BW themselves will announce details of LoTSB if any, since EA have their own packed schedule

i need to know if this will be post or pre suicide mission, as my main canon shep is nearing the suicide mission fast. if its pre i'll have to slow down, if its post i can finish the suicide mission soon.
I believe that it will be post suicide mission, as this makes the most sense story wise to me anyway as it would be a big deal for Shepard to break away from his mission to help Liara with her own pretty substantial assignment.

I wouldn't worry too much since it's the light (amber) filter which is the culprit to changing the colour tone of your red armor from red to pink.
Really? Well that makes me feel better...Thanks. I was uninstalling to see if it was the new patch or something because I swear I didn't notice it in my first playthrough.

Also, Casey Hudson said in an interview that by now they'd start to assume everyone had completed the game. For example, while the Kasumi and Zaeed DLCs added new squad members who would be useful throughout the game and in the suicide mission, later content would focus on developing the story and bridging the gap between ME2 and ME3.

The EA Gamescom press briefing is at 4pm (European time) today, so fingers crossed we get something by then although I have a feeling it will be more of an update on the big launch titles FIFA 11, MoH, Dead Space 2 etc etc.

Sorry but is it not 4p.m. BST +1?

Actually it would be +2. Here in the Netherlands we are in the same timezone is Germany and out here it's +2 due to Summer time.Solid_Shepard12345 wrote...

BST is British Summer Time (so GMT+1) so it's BST+1 but GMT +2?
Regardless, let's pray that they actually mention either this DLC or Mass Effect: Genesis as if they do neither, this thread will literally implode.

The introduction to EA's schedule at Gamescom posted on their website says -
EA at Gamescom 2010
Tuesday, August 17th, 4:00pm
EA Press Briefing, The Palladium,...Cologne.
So, that will be at 4:00pm European time = 2:00pm BST due to Mida's correct statement of +2 due to summer time.

Oh, god, how much i want this dlc. I even painted my armor to match Liara's.
Obsessed much? lol j/k. Seriously though, I hope you didnt paint it to match hers in hopes that you're going to be able to be a "matching set" when you pick your squad etc. because the probability of Liara being a "real" member of your squad is slim to none.....Emphasis on the none aspect though.

Just picture this: BioWare representative takes the stage at GDC. A thousand people, eager journalists and fans are awaiting the first words, tension is rippling through the room, andthen he goes like: "It's out."
The first few seconds are the silence before the stom and then everything explodes as everyone tries to rush out of the room and get to their PCs and consoles so they can download LotSB.
Would be fun, except for the casualties, maybe.

It's on GMT +2 since GMT does not observe daylight saving whereas CET does and BST obviously is daylight saving time; which also means that it's on 1600 CET/1500 BST. I.e. in roughly 4 hours and 30 minutes from now on if the times zones are confusing for you.

Just checked online: http://wwp.greenwich...-union/germany/
That is 1 hour ahead of where I am (and I'm on GMT in the Winter, BST in summer) so it's BST+1
So for BST it's 3:00 p.m.
EDIT: This is what I was trying to say in the previous post but I did it in a roundabout way
EDIT: Now, back to the DLC, does anybody else think that Liara's quest won't be finished by the end of the DLC? I picture something terrible happening like the Shadow Broker getting away or Liara gets injured so has to stop the mission before she completes it. This way, they save the Shadow Broker reveal till the last game, they have a reason for Liara not to join the squad and her recruitment mission in the last game can be killing the Shadow Broker.

And yet, there will be a bunch of dorks in the background, slapping each other in a girly way due to an argument over exactly when the press conference took place.
Haven't managed to do any work today. Doesn't look too good, does it?

i wanna hear progression not some damn port, that time while their trying to develop it right.
They could spent time doing the "Bridge" DLC or could keep working on ME 3 but nooooo
Let's hope this won't happen.
By the way i would welcome a ME franchise port for the PS3 but first finish your goddamn franchise and don't waste the time of your fans

There is also this one, it's only for the EA conference (there is also a countdown to the conference start) but the video signal (i hope) is better.
Anyway, it's 12:00 now here in Rome, only 4 hrs to the conference.
