Wow, the amount of hate over the ME2 for PS3 announcement is stupid. Isn't anyone excited over the possibility that this franchise will reach more people, meaning more fans, more new merchandise and better chances for the success of the Mass Effect movie? You people need to get over yourselves.

Funny how almost no one is happy with the announcement.

All the BioWare employees are ****tards.

Why ****tards? Sorry lads, but if I was a BW dev checking this thread I'd be absolutely annoyed of the behaviour in here.

Well, maybe they see how desperately we lusted after a DLC release date.

But why do Ps3 gamers need ME2 if they don't have Mass Effect 1?
Can some1 tell me?
Bioware will port ME2 only or ME1 also?

They can't do ME. Microsoft's got the publishing rights on the first game.

I guess all the fears people expressed when Bioware went to bed with EA have now been realized...

This is an obvious moneygrab by Bioware and EA.  Especially considering that they won't even be able to port the first game.

I take it by most of the comments Bioware couldn't be arsed to give us any information on the DLC ? Ah well it is to be expected I guess chasing after new customers is more important to them than keeping established customers happy.

I cant believe I woke up early just to find out that were going to have fanboys from both consoles take over the forums, I should have kept sleeping.

I'm pretty sur eit has nothing to do with fanboys.  We're not crying about the game being put on a different console, we're crying about no new information about the DLC or anything Mass Effect related.

I was looking into the future when the ps3 fanboys get here because you know that they like to rub it in. I play on the xbox360 and I cant stand fanboys on both sides but I've noticed that ps3 fanboys are a little more aggressive like going to forums of games they wont even buy just to bug other players.

I think we may hear something yet. DLC is too small for the stage. Might be at the booth. Or they might just bump the site.

So this morning has just been 1 big epic fail for me.

The dragon age 2 trailer is up on the dragon age site.

Just saw it.

Well okay, sure, it looks badass. Pretty sure gameplay won't work like that. I'd prefer actual in-game snippets than marketing fluff.

Oh, I'm indifferent about the ps3 port.

The problem is that it was a complete anticlimax, not being the announcement the majority of us were waiting for.

It feels like a direct insult from BioWare

The devs had better come in this thread and give us info on LotSB or I honnestly think I'm gonna lose all interest... I don't even feel like buying it anymore..

Thanks Bioware... thanks alot.

It could.  No way to know.  They did say August.  And they said once we got news we wouldn't have to wait long for it.  They may just plop it on us at the end of the month of something.

As a semi-noob to the community, what's the deal w/ updates and announcements? Do they only happen on Tuesdays? Meaning we can't hope for an update on LotSB until next Tuesday?

No, because that's means more standalone, less continuity. More casualised, less substance. More cuttroat business BS and less loyalty.

Yes thanks Bioware for giving us amazing games and franchises like Mass Effect and Dragon Age. You people need to get over yourselves, Mass Effect being brought to more people = more new fans, more success, more merchandise, and a better chance at a Mass Effect movie being more successful.
