The devs had better come in this thread and appoligize and give us info on LotSB or I honnestly think I'm gonna lose all interest... I don't even feel like buying it anymore..
Thanks Bioware... thanks alot.
I'm starting to lose hype over it too! At this rate I will lose all interest!! I was so set on it being announced today, such a disappointment

The DA2 trailer was ok, but I expected gameplay footage. Like the ME2 launch trailer, That's an example that must be followed...

Wow, the amount of hate over the ME2 for PS3 announcement is stupid. Isn't anyone excited over the possibility that this franchise will reach more people, meaning more fans, more new merchandise and better chances for the success of the Mass Effect movie? You people need to get over yourselves.
Undercover BioWare Troll?

I don't see why everyone is so scared about a port to the PS3, does the PS3 community have herpes or something? Honestly I use to care about you xbox owners getting a port but now days I just don't give a damn, very rarely does it impact the quality of my game. Only company I can think of what really screwed the pooch was infinity ward with their stupid IWnet crap and no dedicated servers.
I've got nothing against the PS3 port, more that they didn't announce anything about the DLC.

"We are very proud to announce today that Mass Effect 2 will be coming to the Playstation 3 in January 2011. The PS3 edition will include the full Mass Effect 2 game and hours of BONUS CONTENT."
That content better be already released DLC.

No, because that's means more standalone, less continuity. More casualised, less substance. More cuttroat business BS and less loyalty.
Thus far quality has not been impacted IMO so I could care less how many ports they make so long as they maintain the quality.

Yes thanks Bioware for giving us amazing games and franchises like Mass Effect and Dragon Age. You people need to get over yourselves, Mass Effect being brought to more people = more new fans, more success, more merchandise, and a better chance at a Mass Effect movie being more successful.
Cool story, bro but where's my Liara DLC??

It'd be like porting Halo 3 to PS3 without any of the other games. How will they understand what the hell is happening when they start playing ME2? Who's going to buy a sequel to a game without buying the original, anyway? They needed to port both games, or none. It's not complicated...

As for not announcing a release date for lotsb, it wouldn't be smart of them to announce that if they're not fully happy with how it is right now... If I was them, I wouldn't be happy announcing a date until I was completely happy with the dlc.

Yes but Mass Effect 1 can't be brought to the PS3 so PS3 people won't even get the full story.. thats stupid.. I can't see ME2 being like GotY on PS3 if they don't even know the story...

I would be pissed if they got something special that the fans from the beginning couldn't get, hypothetically.SpectreWarden91 wrote...
I Honestly don't care if its on PS3. I care if they get some sort of Major Exclusive Mission or something.

Yeah. If not, I'd be pretty upset with Bioware.
Not only does releasing a trilogy mid-story make little to no sense, but rewarding those PS3 buyers with additional content that the 360 dedicated fans who've been here since ME1 don't get would be the final straw for me.
