By supporting the cosplayers going to PAX, BW was falling back into my favour.

But then we were on the recieving end of a media blackout. No information whatsoever on LOTSB. No extra screens to tide us over. No proposed release date. No extra sliver of information. Completely ignored. Which would be fine if we didn't have much of a wait. I mean, why bother spoiling it if you're going to release it in a week or a couple of days? But we've gone a month with no information except for a brief 'oh btw, it may not work on some european consoles kbai.' Leaving us in an uproar. I didn't fully commit myself to the idea that we'd get LOTSB today or even a release date since the total information blackout gave us no clue when to expect it, but I can't deny it made sense to mention it now. Given this thread is nearing 300 pages of anticipation, and gamescon is a big deal, surely they'd throw a bone out to their fans. At the very least a few screens or a little trailer. But what could be even worse than no information about LOTSB at gamescon? Confirmation about a PS3 port, that's what.

Exclusive content. For their loyal PS3 fanbase who have never played Mass Effect on their PS3. Robbing the PC and Xbox users blind of content they should rightfully recieve. I pray BW amend their phrase to suggest this bonus content is nothing more than a condensed version of ME1 for the sake of giving them the chance to make their own choices. If it's of the story-driven DLC form that loyal fans are getting cheated out of unless they buy themselves a PS3, I can't be responsible for my actions.

Now, I'm a stickler for resource management. Put something in and you need to take something out if you want to stick to the same deadline or value for money. Now we're talking about a whole other game to eat up resource time. And its just a port. ME3 will suffer if they still intend to keep their turnaround short. It's money making, I know that. I know the merits for a company to expand onto different platforms and I understand how console specific exclusives sell. But it's just another example of how EA is slowly and quietly strangling Bioware to death.

My standpoint is back to where it was at the beginning; Bioware has a hell of a lot of work cut out if it wants me to start to consider buying DLC again. Like a lot of people have already said here, we're fastly approaching the last straw.

well,I already knew that there wouldn't be any news about the DLC in the press conference, but ME2 for ps3, came to me as a shocker...

but anyway, I already posted on twitter,that people have waited too long and there should be some news about the DLC, but as always, bioware doesn't care, as it seems.. :/

Haha. I'm still holding out/hoping for this Thursday being the BW announcement of LoTSB, along with the DA2 public demo that I have already mentioned. Like others have said, it has been almost a month since they announced it and I'm sure Overlord had a pretty similar time frame between initial announcement and actual release.

@Theelementslayer Hopefully if the fanboys come here we can turn them into mass effect fanboys instead and basically turn them into fanboys with brains and who know how to use theirs. But for now the only thing that will cheer me up is the dancing turian.
