I really do have to wonder why they announced the Shadow broker so soon ? I mean if you are not going to follow it up with more information for nearly a month then just keep your mouth shut and don't announce something till you are in a position to release more details.
This kind of thing is acceptable with a major game or a major expansion pack, but not with some piddling DLC.
A+++

Bioware know how much we want Liara DLC they just being mean to us ='( *sad face*
Because they give more about money then about us.
As I said before:"It's just a business, nothing personal". Everything goes according to Bioware and EA plan.
There's nothing we can do here.

Guys, seriously, Overlord was released about 33 days after its initial announcement. It hasn't been 33 days from LotSB announcement yet. As much as it sucks to wait another week for this, there's still no indication of it being pushed back into September...

If they follow the Overlord pattern, they will announce the release date this Friday, and it will be available the following Tuesday (next week). Hopefully this is the case.

Though, I do worry that they tend to overhype their own product. Since, you know, they made it.

I can't believe we have to wait another week WITHOUT any SINGLE news. bw, you've definitely disappointed me. At least a little post in this thread...

Kasumi is just one mission though. I'm pretty sure LotSB will be closer to Overlord in volume. I think I remember hearing that LotSB will involve multiple locations, or even interplanetary travel...annihilator27 wrote...

PS3 port better not get any DLC I paid for, for Free!
I would rather them have DLC we paided for then Content we would never recive on 360 or PC...
Why should a PS3 owner get a copy of the game, inclusive of paid DLC totaling to date (-Liara DLC which will prob be at least $10 IMO) what ~22 dollars above the initial cost of the game ($60-$70)
So they should get ~$100+ worth of content for $60?
If that were to happen I would indeed not purchase ME3. There is also the small matter of if any choices from ME1 will be relevant.
By the time ME2 will be released on PS3 it will have been almost a complete year since it first came out. Also, you can already find Mass Effect 2 "NEW" for 30-40$ at most stores today.. The 22$ or 1760 MS points of DLC that already exists today (not including LOTSB) i belive should be included because of some important ME2 Elements (New Crew members/ wepons/ missions Ect.) And honestly by the the time the game comes in january, original DLC prices may drop and the ME2 game will prbly drop even more to where it could make and equivlent to 60-80$ all together..
Now what i do belive is that After or aorund the same time that the PS3 version comes out we will get a GOTY edition for PC and 360 (including all the DLC content from 2010).. Then we will begin to see the tie in to ME3 DLC that Bioware has promised to us for PC/360 and PS3. That would be the smartest thing to do.

I would imagine if involves traveling to different Shadow Broker bases around the galaxy, each one consisting of a small combat mission.
I'm just guessing, of course, as we've had absolutely no info about this DLC thus far

A fair guess is that they initially announce DLC when it's sent to MS (and other appropriate sections) for approvals, and the final date is set when approvals is complete (to avoid another Ostagar). So, even if there are no SNAFUs, they might not know themselves, when it's coming out, apart from the knowledge that approvals generally take ~4 weeks...

Ya know I almost suspect Bioware is doing this on purpose so when it releases it sells like madness.
Unfortunately, I've got a feeling after all the outrage that lot of people are going to do the naughty alternative to buying this DLC. And that's not ignoring it completely.

True and true, but with Overlord we had a release date and price. With this DLC, we've got nothing. If we had a release date we wouldn't be pissed off.

Well, they are keeping everything about it out of the press it seems. It's all secret!
