You would figure that the least bioware could do is tell us that its not ready. Just some communication. thats all we are asking for.

I think the best you can hope for is a 'stfu' if everyone mass PMs the mods. And then some bans and this thread closed.

If I had to guess, I'd imagine that they were going to release LotSB earlier this month, but something happened that prevented them from doing so: glitches that needed to be patched, sales and marketing problems, you name it.  They might have had that fixed 10 days ago, but now they don't want to release it too close to another big announcement: the PS3 release.  When they release a big DLC like Overlord, they want to give it a good, long period of time in the spotlight so it gets the most sales.  They probably figured they wouldn't get that with the PS3 release announcement, so they are waiting it out for a calmer period.  They do that with movies all the time.

I think it is more of a case "people can't see the point in spamming the pm boxes of those in charge".  I mean lets face it so far Bioware haven't exactly shown that they are that bothered about current customers.  It seems to be a case of "we have your money now so go away".  I certainly won't be wasting my time flooding their pm boxes, they know full well what is going on in this thread and they are just ignoring it.

true enough, I should have considered that... I guess I'll be reporting my own thread as "Spam" now, even though it has a legitimate purpose... albeit a wasted one nonetheless.

IIRC, before Overlord was announced we new a big DLC was on the horizon and the speculation was that it would be Liara/Shadowbroker dlc. So, they have announced stuff weeks in advance. However, they are also bucking their own trend in that they typically announce date and price along w/ the title of the DLC. Random speculation: They may have thought it best to release the title weeks in advance since this is such a highly anticipated dlc. A Liara centric dlc has been speculated since the game came out. I guess what I am saying is that while all the Bioware hate may not be deserved, they certainly aren't doing themselves any favors by keeping us in the dark.

If someone from the team could get on the forum and tell us something like this then people wouldnt be going crazy. I feel we all think theres a good reason bioware is holding off the dlc right now but if we could get some type of update that would be awesome. it doesnt neccesarilly have to be the release date, and if they want to keep a part of it secret thats fine also. but a, "sorry for the delay we are still working on it not sure on the release date quite yet, apologies from the bioware crew," would calm the waters that are raging right now.

Yeah, I'm hoping that the wait is just a marketing ploy, but I fear you may have a point w/ the glitch theory.  I recall Kasumi being delayed for sevral hours due to a glitch and apparently no one had taken their riddelin that day.  It was chaos.  We don't need that w/ this DLC.

Hrmm, Major nelson has nothing on his site about this...not sure how often he updates, but on his site there are things for that week.

Isnt the broker dlc not coming out in poland?

crap the 24st im just 4 days on vacation of my 10, well yeah if this info is real then atleast if i come back i still got one free week to play
