I guess 26 days of waiting doesn't count as patiently. We've discussed everything we could with the information we have. Give us something to go on. We've discussed the screens, the speculation, the comics, etc... and have absolutely nothing. Did you really think those 3 screenshots would hold us for +26 days?

To be honest at this point I don't see much point in this thread remaining open.  This topic is for the discussion of the Shadow Broker DLC and we have spent a month trying to discuss the few scraps we have.  Now since Bioware don't seem to be in a hurry to give us any new info then there isn't a hell of a lot to actually discuss.

It might also be useful to note in the future if you are going to leave it a month without saying anything meaningful then it might be wise to not "announce" things so early.

I love the people who say Bioware's marketing sucks, because they announced this almost a month ago and not released any news since then. The rabid slathering of the fans in this thread awaiting said DLC kind of proves that Bioware's marketing--while annoying to us hardcore fans--does in fact seem to be working. This thread averages over 10 new pages per day, so something is working.



And secondly, to all the people claiming they "won't be buying it" due to the lack of news...come on, we all know you're full of crap. Of course you'll buy it. This is easily the most eagerly awaited DLC for ME2 yet (arguably the most awaited altogether), and the 300+ pages of this thread prove it. And for those of you with Bioware points to buy this game, threatening not to use those points on the game doesn't matter to Bioware...you already bought the points from them. They already have your money...it doesn't matter to them what you spend it on.



Bioware/EA will do very well in profits from this DLC release, no doubt.





Anyway, point is, to all the whiners ("WHY ISN'T THERE ANY NEW INFO!!") and empty threat makers ("WHATEVER, I WON'T BUY IT!")--its not working.

Yes, you guys really market the weapon packs - you know so we can decide if we buy them or not. Same for Kasumi and Overlord, basic info, silence for long time, trailer boom released few days laters. btw your marketing sucks.

And you have a degree marketing do you???? Dude their marketing isn't poor, yes it is annoying we hear like that it is coming and then we hear no further details, but it is my guess (as i too don't have a degree in marketing i can't say for sure) that this style of marketing creates rumours which essentially does the marketing for you, no need for trailers no need for spending cash on promoting it, you just give the public a glimpse of it and then because its only a glimpse multiple rumours get created for instance the mass speculation of who the shadow broker is and whether we will get any kind of weapons or armor with it, even speculation as to the cost, whether it wil be cerberus network or not, through these sales tactics using word of mouth the product sells itself, just saying mate, their marketing aint bad, in fact it's good marketing, just a tad.... very annoying for us fans

agree. I mean the one reason Im on this thread is for the laughs, being bored at work, and because of the information.

Anyways on topic. I think the SB is a small tightly knit organization, maybe almost a brotherhood. Therefor we could confront them, kill one and it might have consequences in ME3. Maybe

Just asking how to continue this discussion on topic without information to discuss. Patiently waiting isn't an answer to that question. So yeah, this topic should probably be closed for the sake of not having anything of relevance to talk about. Perhaps reopening it when Bioware decides to give us some more information for us to talk about.
