But wait... I live in Hungary, and bought a full priced, localised (only subtitles) version of Mass Effect 2 in a local store. I really love it and bought all of the DLCs yet. I really appreciate the hungarian subtitles, but I'm willing to pay for a non-localised version of the DLC too, but these "technical problems" which prevents us to get the DLC scares me. I have only one question: Fans from these four conutries totally won't be able to play with this DLC, or we just don't get localization for it? I hope I can still buy the DLC, I was really looking forward to it...

Of course I would be happier if the DLC comes with localised subtitles, but non-localised DLCs are still better than nothing...

It will be nice if someone from EA/Bio clarify what "technical issues" mean.

Even a broken toilet qualifies as a technical issue.

Funny thing is that polish version actualy contains english sound files (dialouges) and such, but you cant be instaled it in EN version, only in polish. So in fact we do have international version, but expanded with localization files. So, you can do some changest in files to fix this and have original sounds with polish subtitles. So my question is why for fu.... sake this DLC gona heve technical issues?

Playing ME2 is polish/czech/slovak/whatever is just a bad joke anyways. I am Czech myself, but I would never play any game with czech subtitles, it just somehow seems ridiculous. Probably because of ****** poor translation.

That's the matter of opinion. I think czech subs weren't that bad. Nothing disturbing.

Sorry to crush your hope... but that means we're completely unable to play that DLC.

I saw the translation for ME1 after I played the original and it was just ridiculous. English subs are much better. It fits much better, since it's originally written in English, you improve your English and can install any and all DLCs.

Was similar when Lelianas song was out. I was like "lol wut? no czech? ok." I don't mind playing it in english, but the incompability issue is really a bum. EA should probably think of some kind of compensation fo CE players. Oh my, how naive from me, it's EA after all!

So...from what EA said - if you will be able to download and install this DLC it will brake your game. 
And again I have to say - I spend my money for a product and I don't want to be treat like second class customer. I can play this game in english and download via EADownloader. But I don't want to. It's not something I payed for.

Don't know about ME1 as I own english version from steam. Still ME2 czech subs in my opinion are good.

If the BioWare can't make the non localised DLC to work with the localised games, I think it's only a very amatuer thing, or something else at EA's headquarter. I remember that the Pinnacle Station for ME1 didn't have hungarian subtitles, and still worked with the localised games... I can't understand why BioWare can't do the same thing again, if the "technical problem" maybe means they can't translate the subtitles....

Well the EA show us (middle Europe players) a middle finger - that is for sure - just compare this to situation where you'v bought yourself a car - right - but to drive it you need wheels - ok you going to buy them but hey wtf they dont suit your car. My idea is simple when I bought this game I was hoping that I am not gona be treated like second class customer - and thats how it ends - atm It seems that I can stick my bioware points deep into my ass..... nice work EA

Whats their problem? I used to play ME1 in full Polish, but I tweaked (ahem) ME2 to English voice over, just because the cast was so awesome.

I guess I'll drop my interests in ME2 DLCs now.

I don't have problems to understand english but I've brought "czech" version and subtitles aren't that bad. And I would like to see you, it's not that easy to translate the whole game.

This is just so unfair ! Screw czech subtitles, I can play DLC even without translation, just make it compatible!
