The only way is buy Mass Effect 2 again, but the English version or waiting for a miracle.
That will be the solution for this DLC exclusion of us though it'd been nice if we shouldn't have to mess around with this thing just simply pay/DL/play it.
I'm still curious whether we can play with this DLC if we have our localized games "internationalized".
An official answer would be great from a BW member. So far they are very silent about the possible solutions.

You just wait, next thing they do will be regional IP locks on this DLC.<_< I can't see why not, given that X360 players will 100% not getting this, as there is no workaround for consoles, and X360 DLC will most likely have region lock (plus the whole thing about Poland/Czech/etc. not really having XBL service, so there is really nothing to it lol).
Sad thing is regional IP lock will be a violation on EU law on free transfer of goods and services, European Commission has a beef with Apple over iTunes store (or lack thereof in Poland, etc.) for a few years now. Too bad the Commission is too inefficient to have an impact, nothing pushes a corporation to "make impossible possible" like fat fine growing each day of non-compliance.

If you prepare ME 3 to release please make notice that DLCs which will be prepared for this game will be exclusive for USA ONLY to avoid any future confusions when comes to your outside USA fan base...<_<

I wanted to give a bit more insight into the Polish, Czech and Hungarian builds for our fans.
Believe me, we tried to make it work for these languages. DA was able to release English DLC for these localized versions of the game, but that isn't the case for us. On the Mass Effect side, it isn't as simple. By allowing the players of these versions to use the English DLC, there would be large scale changes to the main-game player experience. We didn't want to sacrifice the quality of the main game, and tried to work around this in various ways. In the end, unfortunately, we were unable to come to a solution which allowed us to release this content in these territories and keep the same level of quality from the main game.
I'd like to personally apologize to anyone in these regions who are dissapointed, and please know that it wasn't an easy decision to make.
Any chances for some kind of compensation for affected countries, or we will just "move on" and pretend it didn't happen? And will those technical issues affect future DLC releases as well and if yes, will it be patched or we should expect, that more DLCs won't be comming for our countries?

I don't see why it wouldn't as the Installer for the DLC is probably not able to distinguish between a post-internationalized version and "the real thing".Nesher666 wrote...

Can I get a straight answer if one of these versions which were changed into 100% English by copying INT file (I forgot the exact filename) from the English version will be compatible? I don't think it is any different than English version now.

Can we get an answer?
Really, what's so different about this dlc's structure that it **** s up localised version? Previous worked fine, and the upcoming not? Will it be the same with any future dlcs?
BIOWARE, some of us invested in the ongoing experience, waiting for those bridging addons/expansions and ME3 itself. Are you saying we will be deprived of this until ME3 comes out (if Liara dlc wont work how will you make oters compatible in months to come)? Tell me, what is the reason for sticking with your brand in the future? Will I have to jump hoops to make DA2 work? Will ME3 be availabe in Poland?
You give an impression Poland and other cental european countries are 3rd world countries at the dead ass end of space. If not for the great comunity and helpful people who manage to make things work for others you'd have sh!t, or even less, I hope you realise that.

I think I'll jump to The Witcher's forums to make myself feel a little better...if you do not get the allusion
you better reevaluate priorities...<_<

Hi everyone,
As Christina tweeted, some of the new guns you are seeing in those screens are not in the Lair of the Shadow Broker pack. They are in fact part of a different pack that will be released prior to Lair of the Shadowbroker - more details coming very soon. While this was simply intended to tease them I can see how it could be misleading, so I must apologize for that.
Lair of the Shadow Broker does, however, contain some *really* cool stuff we haven't revealed yet so stay tuned for more details as we head into August. And actually the very coolest part of the DLC (imho) will be something we absolutely won't reveal in the marketing or PR, to avoid spoiling it. I think most of you will find it to be our most satisfying DLC release yet for ME2.
Best Regards,
Jarrett

Oh I just mean in August we'll be revealing more stuff.
His 'really cool stuff' that he mentions, I wonder if he means Christina Norman's hinting that Adept users are going to get a "buff" in the near future

As much as I dislike Apple, I dont see many reasons for them to run iTunes in some countries, if they do not have content to sell there, because the license holders do not allow it.Sad thing is regional IP lock will be a violation on EU law on free transfer of goods and services, European Commission has a beef with Apple over iTunes store (or lack thereof in Poland, etc.) for a few years now. I'm still anticipating an N7 armour set much like the recent DLC with each module having multiple attributes with a common attribute that favours Adepts.
