Exactly! That's why you should learn from your mistake and buy ME3 on Steam. =)

PS. I'm not from Valve or anything, I just realy like Steam. It makes my gaming easier.

ohh, you r so funny ...so you want to say that is all our MISTAKE that we r from mid europe, and its our mistake that we bought localised version which is the only one we are able to buy in our country, and its our fault we bought a CD version like 98% of all bioware costumers. I dont think so. Its definitely NOT our fault. I deserve the same rights as costumers from other countries.

After giving it some thought, I must say I am dissapointed that "Liara VS Shadow Broker" will be given us in form of DLC.

Many people here (myself included) are expecting some additional dialogs if you dumped Liara for Tali/Miri/Jack, but I'm 90% sure this is NOT going to happen because that would require re-hiring voice actresses for this DLC. That would make it very heavy on BioWare's wallet. So unless they charge 20+ bucks for this DLC, there will be no profit for them.

So it seems that one of the most exiting mysteries of ME universe will be uncovered through just another just-shoot-them-all-and-go-home mission. :(

But I might be wrong. I sure hope so. =)

Unless of course they are working on ME3 now and still have some of these people on contract?B)

Dont forget that Bioware are also currently working on the fully voiced Star Wars MMO, which will more or less need a running stream of extra content if they want to keep the subs up. Extra content that will probably need voice recordings doing.

Which means that they could always get the voice actors doing that, to also do a few extra lines for ME DLC at the same time.  Afterall, and this is just me guessing, but it seems a possibility, that that's what they did with Claudia Black - As she was in the studio voicing Morrigan for Dragon Age, they probably asked her to read a few extra lines for the Admiral at Tali's trial.

So even if they don't bring back the voice actors specifically for the DLC, it is possible that they could do a propper job of it if the other factors allow them to.

It's not just Claudia Black, there's more people in ME2 that also have a role in DAO or DAA than don't. Smart to synergise.

I was about to comment that I had no idea who Mark Meer voiced in DAO, but the list's been updated to IMDB, so I guess I need to pay more attention the next time. :)

So... if the new shotty/heavy pistol/AR aren't being released as part of the Liara DLC... then what will be released? Is it a Cerberus download? A new 'Aegis pack'? Timeframes, anything?

They said some of the new weapons will come in a different pack before the Liara pack, so sometime soon I suspect.

Not to mention the voice actress had recorded some of the voice files for this whilst the game itself was still being made (search liara hidden dialogue in youtube and you'll see that the dialogue that was in her office for the dlc has already been recorded, i recon that all the voice acting for main characters in dlc had been done a while before the games release so there is a possibility that there could be jealousy issues XD)

all of you hoping for some kind of cat fight between liara and your ME 2 Li will not happen. It is clear that Liara moved on from shepard and will continue her life as an information broker. My god will the hate threads come when you people find this out for yourselves.

This DLC will likely revolve around the shadow broker, not liara.

I wanted to give a bit more insight into the Polish, Czech and Hungarian builds for our fans.

Believe me, we tried to make it work for these languages. DA was able to release English DLC for these localized versions of the game, but that isn't the case for us. On the Mass Effect side, it isn't as simple. By allowing the players of these versions to use the English DLC, there would be large scale changes to the main-game player experience. We didn't want to sacrifice the quality of the main game, and tried to work around this in various ways. In the end, unfortunately, we were unable to come to a solution which allowed us to release this content in these territories and keep the same level of quality from the main game.

I'd like to personally apologize to anyone in these regions who are dissapointed, and please know that it wasn't an easy decision to make.

I appreciate that someone was willing to say something about that whole situation but this isn't the answer I was looking.
I still don't know what the problem really is. Is this new dlc corrupt save files or what?

Maybe I'm interpreting your words incorrectly but I think the fans in these regions would rather be able to play the DLC only in English rather than not at all.

QFT. Language isn't the issue - even those who don't know English can just use some kind of translator to understand what's going on.

OK... because Bioware/EA officials apparently too short sighted to see normal text then i will write in this stye.

So i ask.

WILL ALL FOUR AFFECTED BY THOSE "TECHNICAL PROBLEMS" COUNTRIES BE IP BLOCKED FROM DOWNLOADING ENGLISH VERSION OF THIS DLC?

Plase stop hiding your heads in sand and actually start to respond to your fan base concers instead of giving us this corporate CRAP...

GOOD DAY SIRs<_<

Buy games on STEAM!

If i would buy game on Steam, i would have to download it for very long time (1gb/24h), and use all of my internet limit.

Good thing that my ME2 seems to be complete, with all of english files, so there should be no problem. And IP lock? There is ton of proxy servers.

I still don't know what is the problem with this dlc, the others were fine. If you worry about my gameplay experience please don't do that, I can play with english version too.

yeah... it's hilarious to watch how devs "encourage" own fanbase to  pirate thier own products...<_<

And later on EA chief throw almost racist tantrums about piracy level of EA games in mid europe countries...

Well... Its kinda sad that we are ignored. And the fact that EA didn't say anything so far - it's sad, too. Avoiding to answer the question right?

Just tell them the true you ****!, Polish, Czech and Hungarian people doesnt give you guys much money.....in fact you guys would lose money because voice actors costs more then those people will give you when they buy your DLC.

This is how EA works......thinking about money first.....then their fans :bandit:

We don't need localized voice, we need only localized subtitle, this isn't a big deal. The main game and previous dlcs were fine with the localized sub, just do this again with this dlc and there won't be any problem.

We don´t even need localisation. English version would be just fine for most of us. We can understand english as you can see. I really don´t know, why we can´t buy original english dlc.

Most likely it's not the gameplay expirience, but the means of payment for DLC. I suspect that in those countries you can't buy Ms boints online, they might not have windows LIVE support, and the the only way to acquire points is most likely through buying 1600 points packs through retailer shops. There might be an issue with those retailers. So really the main question is will this be a matter of localised version incapability, or a simply ip block regionwise. If first -the issue is techical, if second - the issue is financial. Mind you, in any case there is base for law suits - the game was marketed as crossplatform expirience with a constant flow of post launch downloadable content.

Looks like it'll be set on Illium (or at least a big part of it) judging from those screenshots, which isn't too surprising.
