Let's put this in a business perspective: there is four regions that are WILLING , practically BEGGING, to buy DLC. Why would they just say "we could make more money by making dlc for these regions, but sitting on our asses drinking smoothies is more fun."? The only reason they could not make DLC for this region is because they can't.

Does it ever cross your mind that things are, whether from a pure engineering point of view or not, complicated enough, so that you cannot see where the problem is straight away?
But BioWare created this problem FFS! If you don't want to blame the for not relising the DLC in 4 countries (IDK for what reason) then you have to blame them for relising broken game in those countries!
And why the hell do you think you know enough to defend BioWare?
The fact is: We have been screwed very badly. No matter what this is not right by BioWare!
I am not defending Bioware. I am saying that you lot, have not enough information to blame them. And how exactly have you been screwed, pray? You bought the game, you played it, and obviously you even liked it. Now someone somewhere made a decision. You won't be able to buy the new DLC. That sucks, I agree. But have you been screwed? No.

MATURITY. That's what Bioware will pay attention to. I feel bad for everyone who will miss out on the DLC, but you will NEVER get your voices heard with the whining and moaning going on in this thread.
They'll read mature arguments. Not, 'OMG, BIOWARE SUKS", "EA IS TEH DEVILS!", "YOU LOST A CUSTOMER!"
If you take your time and lay out exactly what your problem is, they might actually read what you have to say.
Even then, its already been explained that they did everything they could to make it work but they couldn't.
That's it. End of story.
They tried. They already gave you an explanation.
No one is entitled to DLC. Its OPTIONAL. You already paid for the full experience when you bought the main game. That WAS the full experience.
All the DLC's are extra content. Keyword is EXTRA. You don't need it. You don't have to have it. And you damn sure aren't entitled to it like some of you believe.
You were entitled to ME2 when you paid for it. Well you got it.
Seeing as no one paid for this DLC, no one is entitled to get it.
So please, make worthwhile arguments if you want your voices heard. Some of you in this thread have done so, but I'm afraid you've been drowned out by people posting in all caps and creating Anti-Bioware/Anti-EA pictures and videos.
They gave us **** not argumentation.
Technical issues? What does that mean? When they'll tell me "this thing and that thing cant work with your version" I'll say that the gave serious arguments.
When they'll give us any solution they'll regain my trust.
But now? This thing stinks.

You ever think that this DLC is only supported by like two people now that the staff are devoted to other projects (like hopefully mass effect 3). Bioware is great for supporting some games long long after the release date but mass effect is already built to be a trilogy. As a company they are going to go where the money is.
Now FYI Bioware, I'm going to buy any expansion DLC you put out there. Maybe not the replacement clothes but new missions that have story, hell yea.

Before anyone jumps to conclusions we really need more informations about why things ended up this way.
What exactly are these "technical issues" and how they detract from "game play experience"?
Why does Bioware feel the need to make that game play experience decision themselves instead of letting the players decide?
Will this issue involve the PC version of the game? Even one that has been forcibly "internationalized" by tampering with the .ini files?
While I feel the the devs should've thought about adressing these issues in some way with the original announcement I'll reserve my anger for when the answers provided are unsatisfactory.

Some would argue that they are quickly becoming merged.
Regardless, announcements of this type are always followed by people claiming that it will be good because of the people who made it, or because of the subject matter. They are then yelled at by people who have discovered something in the paragraph-long description or the half a dozen screenshots or pieces of concept art, that they dislike, and therefore, the entire thing is a massive failure on the creator's part. The first group are optimists. The second group are idiots.

I can't believe people have signatures about 'Bioware deciding mid Europe doesn't deserve DLC' already. This is unbelievable. You're biting the hand that feeds you, don't be suprised if it smacks you in the future.

That argument is completely false.
You never paid for the DLC. You bought the main game and you got it. It works.
And obviously, they ARE NOT selling broken stuff. The whole point is that the DLC ISN'T BEING SOLD to those countries.
Instead of making a mature argument, work on making an argument that makes sense.

They're not broken, they're just not compatible. Does that mean that because whilst some games can be played on Windows PCs and Macs, and some exist that are Windows PC-only, that all Macs are 'broken'? No. They just haven't found a way for some of them to work together. Sucks for the Mac users who're fans of those (few) games, but last time I checked they carried on living, all of a sudden.

Here's what you could do-
"Well Bioware, I'm pretty miffed that I won't be getting this DLC, but if I may ask you for one thing(besides the DLC, of course), I'd like to know the specifics of what is stopping the DLC from being sold in my country. Is it voice actors/actresses? Glitches and bugs? Please specify, as I feel it would clear a lot of hateful remarks and actions being shown on the boards. Thank you for your time."
^Is that so hard? I'm sure they'd much rather read that then, "OMG, U SUK! INSERT EXPLETIVE HERE! RAWR!"

Yes, but Mac isn't part of Windows. Lair of the Shadow Broker however IS part of Mass Effect. When I'm paying for the game - I'm paying for the abilyty of being a part of the ME universe.
It's like I bought Polish Windows 7, and then Microsoft starts relising software not compatible iny with Polish version of Windows. Wouldn't you say then that Windows is broken?

No. This happens all the time. Windows have released games that, if you're still running Windows 95, won't run. Windows is most definitely not broken, it's just not compatible. Something has stopped the two working.
And for those badgering Bioware for more info now now now now now, they have a lot of stuff they're doing right now. I'm pretty sure they're not getting kicks out of withholding information. Be patient - then they might actually want to answer you.
