A poor attempt at trying to drag this back on topic: I'm really looking forward to this DLC. I can't wait to find out what caused such a huge change to Liara from ME1 to ME2.

Yes im looking forward to the insights in her character that the redemption comics didn't provide.

I also better get some sexy time with my Liara:wub:

When you can express your feelings without cussing and without having a signature such as yours, maybe you will get your explanation.

Uyeah, how am I soppose to react when everything they've said is "the DLC wont work for you"?
If they'd resoneably justyfy it - i don't have problem then.

Here's what you could do-

"Well Bioware, I'm pretty miffed that I won't be getting this DLC, but if I may ask you for one thing(besides the DLC, of course), I'd like to know the specifics of what is stopping the DLC from being sold in my country. Is it voice actors/actresses? Glitches and bugs? Please specify, as I feel it would clear a lot of hateful remarks and actions being shown on the boards. Thank you for your time."

^Is that so hard? I'm sure they'd much rather read that then, "OMG, U SUK! INSERT EXPLETIVE HERE! RAWR!"

Why did you assumed that I havn't done this?
I've sent 3 masseges to Chris Priestly and  Michael Gamble and they didn't answer.
I did this in polite way, I'm not a red neck, I know how to speak politely.

Thats normal....they never respond by pms......i already tried that many times.

Guess that fat ass needs more beer instead of helping his community

why are people assuming or hoping that liara is going to become a member of the squad when they announced that kasumi is the last one to be added? *smashes head into keyboard over and over* c cvtbnbmj, jmhbiouhr;iohfd;ijhna;g;a;ioa;j;jga;s ioawgias gaigiaiolgh ;aso;a

Hi!

I am from Hungary and I have a question: I have the hungarian version of the game (english voices+hungarian subs) - If I delete my version and download the one with EADM, could it solve the problem with the Liara DLC?

Thx

Only if Bioware release this DLC available to buy in affected countries.

Would be nice if this kind of DLC has any impact on ME3, being that it directly involves a main character and an iconic villain of sorts.

More so than the ME1 DLC had on ME2, just an email and some newscasts in the background that hardly anyone takes the time to listen to. I couldn't even go to the apartment that I had won at Pinnacle Station.

Hmm, I wasn't expecting new DLC just yet, I hope they add some cool weapons and longer mission if they sell for 560 points. I didn't really like Kasumi dlc because it seemed so short, but Overlord was pretty good.

As much as I love Liara (ME1 version at least) I think my ship is crowded as it is. I don't want 13th squadmate, even if it's Liara.

It should, as you download the multi-language version of the game. (Én is magyar vagyok, én is most töltöm le, reméljük megy majd )

I'm sort of hoping that they don't reveal who the shadow broker is until ME3 (unless, of course, that this DLC is one of those that Casey mentioned as actually leading into the story of ME3).

There's been a lot of intriguing guesses as to who it is so far (Armistan Banes, a Prothean, a rebel Reaper), I just hope the revelation (if there will be one) will be well done.

I'm hoping for another 'Sovereign is an actual Reaper!' moment.

class starts in a few weeks, I don't want to talk about it. I thought it would be an improvement when i switched from physics but CS is its own kind of monster.

Which is why I hate it when people assume Bioware can just easily fix these technical issues.

I am not asuming anything it just strange what diference there is between my game(Full czech text, english voice) and fully english game. THAT is what i want to know.

Yeah good question.  It just seems utterly incomprehensible how mere text could prevent the DLC from working.

I am seriously of the opinion that if
EA/Bioware/whoever could do something about this, and fix it, then they
would. Why the hell wouldn't they? Are some of you trying to tell me
they WANT to lose customer's trust/respect? Customers in general? And,
the biggest factor for them, of course, customer's money? I can't
honestly agree with anyone who thinks this is 'poor show' on their
behalf, because they have obviously exhausted every path and window of
opportunity - they are the biggest losers in this situation. Sure, some
people won't be able to get the DLC, but they can carry on living. EA
lose money - the only reason they still exist.

I think, more
often than not, people are more than happy to point the finger, without
seriously thinking about it. EA don't gain ANYTHING as a result of this -
so why the hell would they instigate it?

They lose not only money, they lose more important thing - the customer.
I won’t buy anything anymore from them, (EA Poland, because for me they
are responsible for this mess), and will be extremely happy when they
become bankrupt!

They clearly said they could do it but they won't, here is what they said :-

We didn't want to sacrifice the quality of the main game, and tried to work
around this in various ways. In the end, unfortunately, we were unable
to come to a solution which allowed us to release this content in these
territories and keep the same level of quality from the main game.

So in other words they found a way to release the content in these territories but because it didn't keep the "same level of quality as the main game" they aren't going to do it.  If you ask me I would say refusing to release the DLC to ME gamers not only reduces the quality of ME 2 but seriously degrades the quality of ME 3 for those affected.

But what does it mean excatly?! What they mean by "same level of quality"? It can by anything and everything. All the speculation about localization as the main problem are only our theories. Huge group of players from those 4 countries played the game in english, so our native languages have little to do with it!

But all the time i stress the bigger problem! I want to know HOW MANY DLC WONT BE AVAILABLE FOR US BECAUSE OF "TECHNICAL ISSUES". How many plot elements we will miss because of this? If they fear that "our game experience wont be the same", then while doing such things as this, the ME 3 experience will be fu**ed up and this is much bigger concern!

Thanks BIO and EA...thanks...

This way or another, i WILL play all the DLC, if they force me to go pirate, than i will.
