You know what would be nice?

If the game recognizes you brought Tali and Garrus on the mission, and at a specific moment-

*Everyone stops what they're doing and looks at each other*

Garrus-"Hey, I don't know if you noticed, but..."

Shepard-"Just like old times, aye?"

Tali-"Feels good."

Liara-"Yes. Now lets get back to finding the Shadow Broker."

That would be sweet.

yes sweet indeed (apart from the Tali part) :devil:

Because you don't like Tali?

Well, we don't have much to criticize yet. But we have TONS to speculate about.

I am hoping for some discussion on the romance end of things. Or the chance to let Liara know I've moved on to someone else. That might put a damper on the whole reunion thing.

I think any reveals of such would be handled in ME3.

Remember, its optional. A reveal of that nature should be reserved for something that WILL happen, not something that CAN happen.

That, and what about the Virmire Survivor?

I never really cared for Feron, to be honest.

i realy dont care anou hi either i just wan't to know how in the name of The "Reaper" his capture by SB managed to change cute Liara in to cold hearted **** tha could give indoctrinated Benesia run for her money.
Plss BW make it work. at Eastern Europe

When I saw Liara first time after ME1 (I actually played ME2 before ME1, so I didn't get it the first time around), I booked the difference under her growing up. Sort of. Think about it. When you meet her in ME1 she had done nothing much in her life except studying the protheans for 50 years, being alone most of the time. Then came Shepard. While before she had been completely alone and only had to deal with herself and her work, by joining Shepard she became sucked into galactic events. Suddenly she had to deal with the universe from which she had basically withdrawn. Especially after Shepard got himself spaced: suddenly she was on her own in the middle of it all, and had to get the job done. It would be quite strange if that wouldn't have changed her.
So when I saw her the first time after ME1, full of confidence and (maybe even without being aware) using her mother's words, I couldn't suppress a smile. I had the genuine feeling that she would be able to deal with everything anyone could possibly throw at her. In my eyes she had become who the world around her required her to be, without selling her soul. And I liked her even more for that.

Hmm. I like your opinion.

ANYONE WHO WANTS TO DISCUSS THE 'FOUR COUNTRIES' ISSUE, PLEASE DO SO : HERE. I UNDERSTAND I AM NOT A MOD, BUT WE JUST WANT TO DISCUSS THE CONTENT OF THE DLC IN THIS THREAD, NOT THE ISSUES SURROUNDING IT.

And now, after that blatant capital-letter-abuse, I shall continue to post with dignity.

Congratulations 3mii I see you have been promoted to a moderator .......... oh wait no you haven't so I think it is disgraceful that you feel you have the right to not only tell people where to post but to over rule an actual moderator on this board.

The moderator has already stated THIS is the place to discuss the "4 territories" issue along with other issues relating to the DLC, if you do not like this then might I suggest you contact a moderator for clarification.

*sigh* It's not called "being promoted to moderator", it's called "common sense". Absolute last I will say on the matter! I'm going to respectfully ignore any more comments on the 'four countries' issue, as it's not really my problem anyway.

I wonder if Bioware could kill Liara off in this DLC. Or has she been promised for ME3?

Very nice.
I do hope they have something extra for those that kept her as a RI.

And that is a big one (3-5 hours at least)

LOL, I'd like to see Liara's reaction to being cheated on/dumped after she helped bring you back to life.

Just not in this DLC. Wait for ME3.

Sheesh, that's not really common sense.  The issue is specific to this particular dlc therefore it makes sense to talk about here.  Like you say you should just ignore it, if it makes you so mad (don't really know why, like you said, you're getting the dlc, whereas those other folks aren't).

'So, Liara, anyway, thanks for going to hell and back retrieving my bits so that I could be brought back to life and all. Anyhoo, you know how I was a bit freaked out at the beginning of our relationship because you're an alien? Well, I'm over that and I'm dating Turians now, thx bye :crying:

I have to admit I'm the same, Liara's easily been my favourite ME character throughout the two games - I find her infinitely interesting and 'deep'.

Bleh. Romance is all very well and good... but I really hope that isn't the 'really cool stuff' that we've been told to expect.

Unless it involves making lots of little Ardat-Yakshis and setting them on your opponents like the snarks from Half Life. Epic.

I want more creepy missions. It seems the current swath of DLCs seem inspired by other games (I don't know about you all, but I got a distinct feeling of playing a futuristic version of Hitman with the Kasumi DLC, and there were several parts of Overlord that were straight out of FEAR).

I want to speak to a Prothean. Ancient, wizened Prothean as Shadow Broker FTW. :P

No, it DOES NOT make sense to talk about it here. Everything sensible has already been said. For now, all we can do is wait. People going on about how evil and incompetent Bioware is, well.. they ****** me off. And they destroy EVERYTHING positive about this DLC at the moment. And there is no sense at all in doing so.

alright, you guys are arguing about not discussing the issue at Europe, but in the midst of the arguemnt, constantly bringing it up. so just end it

WOW.

I'm not the only one that got a FEAR vibe from Overlord. Sweet.
