This whole they "need to be alive" for ME3 makes me pessimistic about the 12 who can follow us for the suicide mission.

I wouldn't mind if TSB turned out to be an AI. It explains a lot of things (age, ability to deal with thousands of data sources). Perhaps a 'survivor' from one of the earlier Reaper invasions, where the species who created him were wiped out, but it survived.

Okay, we've seen the new pistol and assault rifle in the images and they've stated that they're new guns in a separate gun pack, but... what is the gun folded up in the shottie slot in the image showing the (what I presume to be) new assault rifle? It doesn't look like any of the four we've seen so far...

My guess is we will have some kind of influence on her decision on how to deal with the Shadow Broker in the end. After that a dialog will determine how it goes on from there. Those two dialogs will determine if she gets "un-hardened" as you called it or not.

That's only speculation of course.

Clever, clever. I can see it: the end decision for this DLC is either to unharden her or keep her personality as it was in ME2. If you never got the DLC, in ME3, the default is she will still be hardened, just like she was pre-Lair of Shadow Broker in ME2.

Yep, and it'll be convenient to have a normal Liara in my ME3 squad from the get-go. 

(Notice that I've dropped a few hints here Mr. BioWare.)

To put it simply, technical issues.

If you want a more detailed explanation, wait for the developers to come to work today.

Give it another 12 or so hours before expecting a response.

I think its going to more than harden or un-harden Liara. Judging from that dialog option it seem you can either kill the SB, spare him, spare him and un-harden Liara, OR have Liara take his place as the new Shadow Broker. Decisions...decisions.
