Good. Thank you. I hate Facebook, and would hate to miss out on DA content because of that Blight on humanity.Chris Priestly wrote...

I never understood why people assume that the instant they make a Facebook account, they'll have weirdos and perverts outside their window. More than usual, anyway.
You don't have to put any sensitive information into it if you don't want to. No one's going to force you to give out your phone number or address or photos or bank account numbers or anything. And furthermore, you can restrict viewing ANYTHING to those you expressly permit.
I'm not saying everyone has to go out and get one, and it's a good thing you don't have to use it for this giveaway, but in the future, it's not that big of a deal. You don't even have to use your real name. We're talking like 30 seconds of work to set up an account and hit Like.
It's just weird how so many people act like if you sign up for Facebook, you're contractually obligated to open up your entire life to the Internet.
Exactly. There are plenty of options to keep it pretty much on lock down. People aren't going to add you or specifically look for you unless you know him/her. Don't you think you guys are being a little over dramatic about the whole "stalking" thing?

I'm gonna laugh when they give the epic weapon to absolutely everyone that liked it and signed up for the newsletter.
I would agree with you if DA2 would be an online game but it isn't and you can see this weapon as an ''early gift'' to whoever follow the news about the game early on.
There were items like this for DA:O too.
For singleplayer , I think this is a good way to reward the loyal followers.

Oh, good, one less weapon for me to worry about and about 60 million fewer stalkers to worry about as I continue to never use Facebook.

This summer we are giving fans a chance at a limited number of codes for an Epic In-Game Weapon for Dragon Age 2. You can only enter here (http://dragonage.bioware.com/da2/) by hitting the “Like” button on the page and then sign-up for the Dragon Age 2 newsletter. If you have already done this then consider yourself entered! Codes will be delivered via email in September.
These codes are only available with newsletter signup. If you are at Comic Con, sign up for the newsletter and you'll get a code. Not in San Diego? never fear! ANYONE who signs up for the newsletter from now until 7PM PST Sunday July 25 will get a code too.
"But I already signed up for the nesletter!" Never fear! We love our fans and will send the codes to anyone who already has the newsletter signed up.
Why, cuz we want everone to get the code for the in-game weapon.
Happy Comic-Con.
You seem to have picked up this kind of advertising from Paradox Entertainment

Hehe, my thoughts exactly. At least, I think those were my thoughts when I hit that link, hit like, and signed up in about .5 seconds.
I hope it's a sword...
