And besides, how do you know whether or not I'll like the page? I'm pretty sure I didn't connect my bioware account to my facebook account.

I hope it's a sword...
Lol, me too!!
I hope it's a sword with some special power. Maybe a sword that'll produce lightening with every strike? Or fire? .. wait no, that's what runes are for. Hm. I wonder what it'll be.

I felt the same way, but eventually to many offers where passed by, you'll realize that this isn't the last offer that Facebook will give you.dark-lauron wrote...
Hmm... in one hand, I could get something nice (or is it US only?) and make a facebook account... on the other hand, I have the satisfaction to not join facebook.

Tricked me, since I read that and acted prior to reading the second page, as many others will.
I have a facebook page but I hate using it.

I never understood why people assume that the instant they make a Facebook account, they'll have weirdos and perverts outside their window. More than usual, anyway.Daewan wrote...
Oh, good, one less weapon for me to worry about and about 60 million fewer stalkers to worry about as I continue to never use Facebook.
You don't have to put any sensitive information into it if you don't want to. No one's going to force you to give out your phone number or address or photos or bank account numbers or anything. And furthermore, you can restrict viewing ANYTHING to those you expressly permit.
I'm not saying everyone has to go out and get one, and it's a good thing you don't have to use it for this giveaway, but in the future, it's not that big of a deal. You don't even have to use your real name. We're talking like 30 seconds of work to set up an account and hit Like.
It's just weird how so many people act like if you sign up for Facebook, you're contractually obligated to open up your entire life to the Internet.
^This, I have a rule on Facebook, I have to have met someone IRL to have them as a friend, and it means when I loose/break my phone I don't lose contact with people. So it ends up that the only people who can see you in photo's and stuff are the friends of friends who you'll probably have briefly met anyway and thus you avoid wierdo's and perverts and stuff. Yes I'm a guy so I don't have to worry bout that stuff but I hate random adds which is why facebook is the only site of it's type I use.
