I want the kind with boobs and no dong. LESBO'S FTW! Now I'm off to go cry and touch myself to pictures of nude Loghain covered in pig fat and chicken feathers.

I don't care - I am more interested in a solid story - I won't grieve if they decide  not to include romances at all...

You mean the same types of characters?

I loved Alistair.  Not a fan of Bishop (he's an interesting character, but wouldn't be a good person to have a relationship with).

I liked being surprised, though.  New romances don't have to be similar to the ones that came before, and I actually don't have a list of personality traits that I *require* or anything.

I'll make it simple: give me kelly chambers in light armour and I'm game.

Or a morrigan without the "love is weakness" attitude. And one that does not leave you if you don't do her thing. her sharp tongue would be great in a LI.

I'd love to have an LI something like Daveth. A little perverted, straight-forward, not too high brow. I've always loved his accent/manner of speech, too.

Well I haven't played the BG or NWN games but I thought Alistair's romance was very well done. I have a soft spot for adorable puppy-like men anyway. Kaidan's I thought felt a little flat and kind of like an afterthought, and in ME2 I liked Thane's the best, although none of the ME2 romances were as in-depth as the DAO ones. Give me anything well-written and fully fleshed out and I'll be happy, but Alistair is exactly my type.

Bad boys. I want to see BioWare do a bona-fide bad boy. Their closest LI bad boy has been Zevran, and though I love him, bless his sweet little heart he's not a bad boy. Get deep enough into Zevran's romance, and it's just as gushy and sweet as Alistair's.

Just for freshness's sake, I'd like to see a Bishop or an Atton. Or, like I said on another one of these threads, even an Ozai-esque Evil Bastard.

Pick me. I'm as stupid as Alistair, as perverted as Daveth and as despicable as Morrigan ;)

I want female-female romances, for the rest I don't really care. Now the female I'd romance should be elegant, a little snobbish -not too much-, sexy and badass overall somewhat like Morrigan.

Even within those two character types, there's a huge range, and sometimes overlap.Image IPB

This, too! Ever since I saw the first pieces with Varric in them, I remembered just how much I love dwarven men.

Same here, actually.  Not surprised he (apparently) has a small fanbase.

Just a good, manly man, like Sten. Not another overgrown man-child that b*tches more than a tired four year old at the mall...

Couldn't it be argued that Atton Rand was a softie at heart, too?  I definitely don't think he comes anywhere near Bishop.

A LI like sir jory would be nice for females. A loving father, caring husband, fat, bald, and a bit dumb.

That would get you ladies more prepared for what's coming in real life :D

I vaguely remember being informed that some of the staff had referenced including a dwarven love interest, at some point, in the Dragon Age series, though I don't have the source of it at hand.

It would be really nice, and I think a lot of the community would appreciate seeing such a well-done and fleshed out society continued in some way in DA2.  Bonus points if, you know, Hawke can bang him or her.
