SpaceKraken, it is my understanding that if the "I thought you and Anora were going to marry" line has a Persuade option in front of it, then you have NOT made them agree to it beforehand. You should try going back to Anora AFTER talking to Alistair in Arl Eamon's estate. I really hope this helps - otherwise either speedrun or console-command from an earlier save (not pleasant, but saves time).

Thanks for giving me a chance.  But I'm afraid I'll have to do a speed run.  Only had it saved at the landsmeet doors.
The "I thought you and Anora would marry" line is not a persuade option either.

It's probable he wasn't fully hardened (ooer!). Not only do you have to tell him that people are out for themselves when you go to see his sister, but there MUST be a follow-up conversation where he says something like "I've been thinking about what you said and I'm going to start sticking up for myself from now on" or words to that effect. You only get that if his approval is above 70 (I think).

Okay, thanks!  I'll try boosting his approval before the landsmeet and try to initiate that conversation.  If it works it'll be much better than doing a speed run.
