Even though I think it would (potentially) be ridiculously awesome to feature the Warden as an NPC, with a personality determined by your choices in DA:O, I think it might be a little too much work, unless perhaps it's only a small part.  However, I don't think the voice acting is really an issue. The Warden, in fact, is not mute; he just doesn't speak during the dialogues. But you did pick a voice for him which he uses when certain things happen. So if it were a small part, it wouldn't be that a big a deal. I am aware, though, that many people had a "real" voice in their heads which they used while playing, so I understand that.

I have to admit, I always thought that it would be extremely cool if I were able to play a bad guy in an RPG, and then through importing, have him be a villain/the villain in the sequel.

The warden might be dead, since they have short lifespan since they drank the darkspawn blood on the rocks.

It wouldn't make any sense to have the warden show up in the second. It would be to much work to set up a whole profile and try and figure everything out that the warden did in the original. I wouldn't be dissapointed if we never heard from him or her again.

I'd like to walk around a bush and see an ester egg, Leliana blowing Alistair behind a bush, shes two timing the Warden! Sad thing is, I'm kinda serious.

Not really. You get to import your DAO save to DA2.

Well, they have 30 years, more or less.  That said, they could still die a premature death.*

*Though I'm sure people would hate it if their Wardens died offscreen--they are already mad that the Warden isn't still the protagonist.

No way. If the Warden has to show up, then it should be as a semi-legendary figure whose actions are constantly referenced (continuity porn FTW) and maybe with a couple of monuments, or as a one-scene wonder who kicks unfathomable ass and does not speak at all. Maybe with love interest in tow (I'm looking at you, Leliana, star of my otherwise grim Fereldan sky).

Ya man... haven't u seen the screenshots? They took a somewhat cartoony look, very much like the Old Republic MMO bioware has on the way.

I dont want the warden to show up as an NPC, and i doubt he/she will show up in any capacity save for maybe a statue, and being mentioned by a few people. what i WOULD love to see though is something like KOTOR II, where revan showed up and you fought him. The warden would be mute, refusing to answer any questions, and then would suddenly just leap out at you and attack. And when you beat the warden, the warden would just suddenly fade away as if he/she were never there....

This would obviously just be for fan service, and would probably be a really tough and hard sidequest, but i think it would be awesome Posted Image

Maybe have a cutscene where the warden pops up and kills flemeth. stupid witch wont stay dead..... Posted Image

I would rather have us be able to find "Your_Warden's Cache" or something similar somewhere in the world, with the gold/some items from your DAO saved game, to give credence to actually playing through the first game, collecting gear and money, doing side quests, etc.

The only cameo I would like to have my Warden would be to be the cause of Hawke's death

"Screw Kirkwall I saved the damn world!!!"

Then i would be happy, oh yes indeed

I get where you are at. I also love the Warden. I don't think he/she will be in this game, Tthe Warden is on his quest with Allistair, Morrigan and Leliana, trying to save the world from the Blight. Hawke is just getting started, trying to stay alive and keep his sister alive.

I don't think the Warden or Hawke would fight each other, I would think that they would help each other and BiOWARE is not going to put the Warden in this game to have Hawke or anyone else kill him/her, that would be cheap and kill any kind of expanison/story later on  that they had in the works for the Warden.  The Warden is alos not dead.

Hawke's story is about being a nobody and being a somebody. Flemith meets Hawke before she meets your Warden. She says the same thing Morrigan says to you, "Well..Well, what do we have here:" What she has in mind, who knows, love her character and I'am glad to see more of it.

In the 10 years of Hawke's story, alot can happen, we will just have to see where David is going to carry the story.

Heh, if Hawke wanted to fight my warden, this game would turn from "Dragon Age 2" to "Dragon Age Origins: Watch your Warden slaughter this new guy in fun and exciting ways"

I just want one scene with the Warden in it, it wouldn't have so many factors in it if he/she remained silent and had a helmet on.

Now if I could say what I *want* the encounter to be like, it'd be a badarse passing of the torch moment, maybe with the Warden and Hawke passing one another somewhere and just nodding at one another, before moving along as if nothing happened.

I don't want the Warden anywhere near this. We all have our own ideas about who the Warden is (and whether they're alive or dead) so any appearance would be an immersion killer.

I would buy the game just for this.

No, we chose a voice for our wardens when we were going through character creation.  I especially remember this because mine kept offering me ladders so that I could get off their back.

the voice that did what the archdemon couldnt.. destroy my warden and force a restart from scratch after 5 hours in

Yeah, but everyone has a different perception of the warden. Human? Elf? Dwarf? Mage? Male/Female..... so, the answer is non-poso!!
