I just ran through the Silverite Mine without finding my equipment so I thought I missed something but apparently I didn't miss a thing. :( This problem must be quite a doozy for it to persist this long. I am just glad I have a save right before I entered the mine. Is there any progress on fixing it?

I ran into this one as well when I played through Awakening. (Apparently, Mages can expect to run in to this quite a lot due to their tendency to wear restricted equipment?) Thankfully, I'd seen some mention of this bug in passing, and started making regular new saves the minute I saw the words "Silverite Mine," so I only lost my first playthrough of the dungeon.

Hopefully Bioware will surprise everyone with a new patch, but I'm somewhat doubtful there will be anything beyond 1.04. It's been a while since the last patch, and DA2 isn't that far out.

Thanks Bioware for the lousy support. I finished the mine never finding my equipment. Found out that this is a BUG that has been around forever yet Bioware is too busy cranking out the DLC to fix their games......now I can play without my items, lost 3 hours replaying the same thing again, or more likely...give up on this game

Nathan are you actually working at Bioware....it is explained clear as crystal that this was not fixed in the latest patch....

sheesh

I'm going to be civil here, and give you a warning. I'm taking time out of my schedule and other work priorities to wade through ye olde forums to try and help people, as well as collect information so I can pass things along to the other nice devs that fix things. I like to think I have a great deal of tolerance and patience, but that doesn't mean said qualities are infinite.

So in short, sass away if you wish. Just don't be surprised if it results in a banhammer all up in yo' grill. :bandit:

i just bought the ultimate edition about a month ago and this bug is STILL in the game.  in fact ALL of awakening is buggy as hell and barely worth playing.  there are quests that you cant finish, story holes that COMPLETELY contradict everything you have already been told, graphical errors, a serious memory leak that causes the game to run poorly (at least on the PC version) among other numerable bugs, glitches, plot/story errors.

i realize this post was made months ago, but thats kinda my point.  here it is, months later and none of these issues were ever fixed.  its on to DA2, which according to all the press that wasnt bought, is terrible and none of this was ever fixed.  thanks for all the dough, SUCKERS!!!  seriously, why would anyone ever pay full sticker for a game after playing awakening, reading the BIOWARE response on the forums and seeing that nothing gets done.

this company has a major MMO comming out soon and cant even make stand alone titles work right???  im laughing as i spend my money elsewhere.  ban me all you want, thats what your customers are thinking.
